We stayed in the Birch Cabin, fully modern but charming. It was great fun. It is 2-3 miles from Talkeetna proper so I would recommend this place if you have a car.

Beautiful lodge in the woods

Excellent lodging, nestled in the woods, just a few minutes from Talkeetna. Very quiet location. Our hosts couldn't have been nicer and accommodating. The place was in top condition and kept spotlessly clean. We would definitely go back if we returned to the area!

The owners are wonderful people. They rented us their KIA so we could use it to get to town and at such a reasonable price. Then, they even gave us a ride to the railroad station. Great experience, and we definitely recommend it.
