Old and Dirty

The room was just old and grungy. It was freezing cold and even after running the heater for several hours, it still didn’t warm up. There were stains on the lamp shades, and a big stain on the side table. The picture frames on the wall were cracked. The door to the room was hard to lock from the outside (loose handle). It was okay for a cheap motel, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

This was fine for a one night stay. Very basic room but clean and bed was comfortable. A few updates like new flooring but still an older style motel with few amenities.

The room was very cold, but the noisy heater, running all night, eventually warmed up the room. An extra blanket or two would have been good. The bed was comfortable.

We have stayed at the Kent Inn before when we were in Lindsay. Rooms are spacious, clean. We like the little sitting area, spacious fridge and the fact that there is no carpet in our rooms, all hardwood.

Disappointed guest

The Kent Inn is clean. The owners/managers are pleasant. It is conveniently located. This was my 2nd stay, both for 2 nights. My first visit, I had a room in the 2 story buiding.It ha very poor sound proofing. I was wakened by the other guests coming and going all night. On my second stay, I requested a room not in the same building. The heating unit was noisy and not efficient. It went off every 10 minutes all night. I have decided not to give this motel a third opportunity.

Clean but old.

Old motel. Room is cramped, bed wasn't great. Sink drained very slowly. Noisy electric ac/heater. No heat when we entered. Took a day at 26° heat to warm the room. Door had a large air gap at the bottom. Minimal electric outlets. Bathroom was small, no vanity, no place to put anything. Plus side is, room was clean. Wouldn't stay again.
