I would have rated higher if it wasn't for the unpleasant treatment from the owner. There was no contact from her until 30 mins prior to check in to say the accommodation wasn't ready as she was still cleaning it. She proceeded to complain about the previous guests and the mess they had left and the fact that it's Sunday and she's had to leave her kids at home. I arrived to music blaring and a very stressed owner still trying to clean. Again she complained about the previous guests and claimed she had been there for 4 hours cleaning. This I find hard to believe because the premises were not what I would call clean. Later when I brought my elderly mother over for dinner, I couldn't get the door unlocked. I called the owner and after several attempts managed to get in with the owner still on the phone and it was shortly after this that she started a tirade of gaslighting that I have never experienced before. She again complained about the previous guests stating their ethnicity and how the house stank of their BO and that's why it took her over 4 hours to clean the house. Im not how their ethnicity was relevant. This was a Sunday which apoarently was bin night and the next morning she had the audacity to ask me to put the overflowing bin out. Surely she could have done while she was there on Sunday. It's
