The hotel has a cute retro vibe. The outdoor furniture needs to be replaced, but we loved to common area for guests to use. The check in staff was not welcoming or friendly at all and didn’t tell us there was a happy hour or breakfast and didn’t smile or show us any friendliness at all. At least pretend like you like your job and are happy to welcome guests!

We came down for Mardi Gras. The room was good. Perfectly located. Only complaint was the AC didn’t work well. I wouldn’t be able to stay here in the summer. My family had a total of 4 rooms and all of the rooms were like this.

The place is easy to get to from US 98 and I-110, convenient to clubs, bars and the Saenger theater. Free parking and three blocks to entertainment. Typical continental breakfast and there's a happy hour w/ some bar snacks. Clean rooms but sometimes there's local night train noise.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. Check in was super easy and fast. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Came for Pensacon, and this hotel is right in the middle of everything.

I always wanted to try this place

If you just want a cheap place as near downtown as you can get, it may be ok for you, but I would not go back again. The plantation shutters were broken and I don't like street light in the room, the bed was lumpy and soft and gave too much. The shower is like 1950's tiny, but functional maybe. I had other options, so after checking in, going to dinner, and coming back, I decided to leave so I could get some better rest in a better bed and darker room. That's just my opinion.

My stay at the hotel was very nice. The property is convenient to lots of great restaurants, safe, walkable, and easy to access from the interstate. The room was nice and the housekeeping staff was very responsive. The only negative about my stay was the mattress. My mattress had virtually no support. It's time to replace the mattresses! Next time I stay I will ask for a room with a newer mattress.
