The resorts stucco villa was reconstructed into five apartments and an annex apartment for holiday rentals, each has modern fittings and their own outdoor dining area. The Valdera is known for a cooling afternoon breeze from the coast and stunning golden sunsets, at this resort you will not be disappointed.



La Macchia is less than 5 km away from two towns with locally sourced products and amenities. For those who can tear themselves away from the vistas, you will find Casciana Thermal baths, Volterra, San Gimignano and the Tuscan coast all within easy reach for a day trip. The resident resort manager is on hand so you can sample La Macchia's organic first press olive oil, wines and seasonal vegetables.
