The stairwell had a step that was offset that could be a liability. There was a 1/2 inch gap between the door and threshold. The property seemed to be aged and worn but at least clean and fairly cozy.

SUPER BAD customer service! Got a room that smelled like someone was just smoking in there! Went to tell them if I could get a different room because I have a 8month old and a 2 year old, and will not let them breathe that all night. the lady at the front office said I need to understand that firemen sleep there. I asked nicely to get a different room they did get me a different room but literally the room next door! I opened the door room smelled mixture of smoke, cat pee and just a horrible smell! Went back and asked them if they can please give me a clean room at this point the lady was very rude and said NO! I have to choose between these two rooms and if I didn’t I have to go elsewhere! I booked this room a month ago for a baseball tournament of 3 days! where was I going to go if all other hotels were booked! She was rude raised her voice at me and said she couldn’t give me a room other then those two! Said there was no housekeeper that she had left for the day and was not coming back till tomorrow! Mind you the house keeper is the MANAGER! Overall the worst hotel you can book bad customer service! NASTY rooms and a pool that has been under construction for TWO years! Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had! Mind you I had to dive back to phx and drive back to payson the 3days!

The hotel is dated but kept clean. Our room toilet was leaking so we had to put towels around the toilet bottom base because of the leak. Front desk staff were all very pleasant.

Gorgeous park-like courtyard- perfect if you're traveling with pets. The amazing staff got me into a lower level room since I let them know about my knee surgery- issues with walking to upper level. Delicious breakfast with omelets and waffles and more! Highly recommend!

Poor Customer Service

We booked online, we found out that was not a good thing. We used a 3rd party and they dont guarantee room choice. We requested ground floor as just had hip replacement when we finally were able to check in we’re told no ground available we had second floor only option. We were only going to stay the one night as we had to take all our luggage up stairs which was 2 trips for both of us (70 plus years old ladies) only to find when we got done no AC! Called front desk and lady came up to check it…no work we need to get you another room (but when we checked in no possible room available especially ground floor originally requested) My friend followed her back to office to get room…one desk clerk said “do you have to have 2 beds…yes! Her reply “we don’t have anything…other clerk said wait let me check and lo and behold a room on the ground floor which we originally wanted. So at this point ask if they had a dolly we could borrow to take all our luggage back to car to move…”No we don’t they aren’t returned and we lose them. I noted we will have to take all back down the stairs without help. Response was “ I guess if you want AC you will have too”. Remind you just had hip replacement could have used a little help or at least an apology for the inconvenience. Final note once we were settled in on ground all was okay except we have a rockin toilet. Needless to stay we will not stay at Quality Inn again CS was very poor!

The check in area was beautiful and well maintained. The check in clerk was friendly and took time to answer questions. However, the room needs to be updated. It smelled very "musty" and "moldy". There was lots of space in the room but the smell of it didn't want you to stay their long. Might be time to replace the carpet or maybe try some stronger cleaners. Otherwise, we liked the place and location. Another thing that could have been better was the breakfast offered each morning. We both got sick on it - don't recommend it.

We walked in extremely polite and friendly, but the entirety of our conversation with the lobby staff was incredibly rude and for some reason aggressive. Unhelpful and openly uninterested in answering any of our questions about the property and our room. The door to our room was very difficult to physically open as an aside… Not because of the key not working, but because of the door frame. Had to shoulder bash it every time.

The roomvery spacious. We checked in very late, soo $200 4 a few hours a bit pricey but they were able to give us ground floor!( Thank God, there are NO elevators. Nice grassy court yard to walk dog. This is one of my favorite Payson motels. Thank you for a lovely stay, and AMAZING hot breakfast!!! Egg n cheese omelet, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, make your own waffles, cereal, bagels, english muffins, coffee, juice, tea and super yummy ice water! I wanted to stay another night just for the breakfast!!!!
