Nice place with a great view
Perfect for a solo traveler like me. It rained the night I arrived and most of the next day, so I was glad for the wood stove. The site manager allowed me to check in a little early and came quickly with a battery for the smoke alarm when I asked. Clean, great view of the valley.
Quality accommodations for a great price! Loved Josie’s Hideaway; tasty ales, live music and lots of beautiful motorcycles! It will be our go-to for our staycations.
Great place to unwind. My wife and I stayed at cabin 4 after our wedding in Vegas. Perfect place to unplug and just relax. Surrounding area is beautiful, and the cabins are nice and cozy. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the are

Excellent room with amazing views!
Overall the place is very nice. The views from the cabin were amazing and the cabin is super clean and modern. They definitely put in effort to make the place nice. That being said, there's always some things that I think future travelers should know. The property does have a bar/restaurant at the bottom of the hill that is SUPER busy and loud on Saturdays. It's a biker bar and seems to get pretty crowded. You can't hear the bar from the cabins very much, but you DEFINITELY hear the Harleys etc. If you're goal is solitude and meditation, the sounds can be a bit jarring. That's probably not the case on weekdays, but Saturdays are busy. Finally, in the middle of my stay I heard several minutes of gunshots in the afternoon. I spoke with the property manager who said the neighboring property is owned by a person who "just shoots sometimes". That is not my idea of relaxation but not sure much can be done about that. But I do feel it's important for future travelers to know. I despise guns, so maybe that's just my hang up. Overall a wonderful stay and would recommend to others despite some of the noted anomalies. Cheers.
The cabin was well appointed, nice touches here and there. The only bummer was not having hot water in the morning (though we had it the night before). Not a huge deal, and Andre was more than willing to help us out. We trust he/they solve the problem with the water. Other than that, we loved our stay at Falcon's Chalet. :-)
