すばらしいところなんだがなあーーー

かつては、パツクワロは外国人旅行客に人気の場所であったことは間違いない．パツクワロ湖と、その周囲に点在する特定の領域の工芸品の制作と販売に特化した村々。湖の島ハニツィオ島（特に死者の日）など、魅力あるエリアであった。しかし現在どうやら観光客が激減してしまっている。最高評価ランクとなっているこのホテルもやりくりに苦心惨憺というところで、極限まで人減らしをしている。（極限を超えてしまっているとも言える）確認しているわけではないのだが、少なくとも平日の体制としては、２室のみ格に見合う状態を確保しているのではなかろうか？レストランも閑古鳥が鳴いている。おそらくは格が高く価格が高いため、地元民にもそっぽをむかれてしまっているのではないだろうか。 以下個別の問題点を箇条書きで挙げる。 １.レストランの朝食の営業開始時間を、室内のホテル営業案内冊子には、午前7時３０分からとしているのであるが、実際には８時３０分ではなかろうか。というのも、８時５分ぐらいにレストランに朝食を食べにいったが、その時点で、ようやく職員が通勤して来ていたところであった。食べられるのか聞いたところ、出来ますということで、８時２０分頃から食べ始めた。 ２.ジャグジーの施設が、ほとんど使えそうに思えない状態で放置されていた。（おそらくは、客の減少で必然的に） ３.バスの栓が機能せず風呂としての使用が困難（私に使い方の問題の可能性もある）で、お湯の出方がかなり良くない。そしておかれていた石けんシャンプーなどは、この格のホテルにしては、お粗末なレベルのものであった。 以上総合すると、なんとかぎりぎりの線で宿泊施設としての条件は満たしているが、格に見合っているかと言えば、それは難しいということである。 メキシコ国内は、麻薬組織と連邦政府の全面対決故に各地の観光地が疲弊していると思われる。パツクワロ自身は魅力ある観光資産を有しており、状況が好転すれば観光客が戻る可能性は大いに期待できるのだがーーー故に、改善の努力を要請するか、営業上の対象とはしないかいずれかが妥当であろう。個人的には、なんとか生き残ってほしいというのが実感である。
