Excellent stay - will do it again. Studios are clean (and also cleaned everyday with a change of towels), spacious, well furnished and equipped for basic cooking, air-conditioning etc. My room had a nice view of the mountain behind the studio (from the front door) and a harbour-sea view from the balcony. Bathroom is a little basic (no shower curtain / box but this is fairly standard on the islands of Greece from what I've heard) but still clean and functional with good water (hot, and cold) supply. Nicolas and family are wonderful warm and helpful people who will go above-and-beyond business requirements when possible. You can also benefit from Nicolas good reputation and network on the island. The island of Patmos itself is highly recommended as a beautiful, tranquil and somewhat mystically spiritual place thanks to the Cave of the Apocalypse and Monastery of St. John The Theologian. Breakfast is simple and very good (bread with butter and jam, ham and cheese toast, biscuits, Patmos cheese puff, fruit juice and fruit, yogurt with honey or some grapes from Nicolas trees, coffee). Location is fine just a 800m to 1 km walk to the town of Skala (2 km from Cave of the Apocalypse and 4.5 km from the Monastery up on Chora). Bottom line: Highly recommended.
