Accommodation in Paro

Planning a stopover in Paro? There are only 2 options within 5 kilometres of the town centre.

The Olathang Hotel and Bhutan Metta Resort and Spa are a few of several fantastic hotel options that are near all the action.

For more options, try the Taj Tashi and the Le Meridien Thimphu. They are 25 kilometres and 25 kilometres respectively from the center. If these two aren't what you're looking for, you can try the Thimphu Tower or the Dorji Elements.

Located 25 kilometres to the east of Paro is Thimphu, which boasts a range of accommodation options. The Hotel Osel and Namseling Boutique Hotel are some of the hotels here.

Before your Paro trip comes to an end, why not spend an hour or two rubbing shoulders with Bhutan sports obsessives at a local match? Changlimithang Stadium is situated to the east of Paro. Those wishing to stay close by can select from the Hotel Phuntsho Pelri and the Druk Hotel.

We hope you enjoy your stay in Paro; just remember, wherever in the world you'd like to go, Wotif can take you there.

New reviews! Best hotels in Paro

Le Meridien Paro, Riverfront
Wotif Verified Review
5 / 5
This hotel is in one of the best locations possible, by the gurgling river Paro, along which you can stroll at leisure after the brilliant high-tea the chefs here serve. The rooms are great, and the hospitality team led by the manager Ugyen Wangchuk (special mention to wait staff, Tashi Tobgay) is really good at their jobs. The whole kitchen staff led by Chef Satyajit and Rahi are so welcoming and good. Ugyen Dorji at the coffee shop is always ready with fun conversation. We really enjoyed the Chef’s hospitality and great cooking. We didn’t anticipate our trip to Bhutan to be a good food trip, but the chefs here have gone above and beyond to ensure we have a great time!
