A great stay.

Stayed here to be close to the airport. The rooms are renovated and comfortable. Our beds were only full sized, not queens, I might have missed that in the description but important to know if coming with a family. The breakfast in the morning is way nicer than a typical hotel breakfast. Yogurt station with cut up melon. An omelette station, cereal, oatmeal and different breads.

Convention Hotel, not for a restful stay

My sister and I stayed 2 nights because we had an event near the airport. I needed to call in advance for directions (gps wasn’t working and it was raining) and I was hung up on 3 times after they picked up. When we got there a cruise group had taken over the lobby and restaurant. The next day there was a Pokémon convention and it was impossible to walk through the lobby most of the day. I chose the wrong hotel for what we needed—the Sheraton would have been the wiser choice. The hotel itself was in very good condition but it is a convention/event hotel.

The Embassy is always our go to hotel before any flight out of PDX. Everyone is so friendly, the rooms have always been so clean, and the restaurant has great food!

Pretty good stay!

Overall things went well however with the pool out of service was a bummer for my kids. Also the beds are pretty stiff to sleep on. Other than that are stay was good pleasant. Oh how can i forget about the amazing breakfast spread. It is by far the best breakfast at a hotel i have had in a while. I’ll come back just for that!

We had a very late arrival due to a delayed flight. When we got there the hotel gave us two cards that didn’t work when we scanned them. We then had to go back down to the desk and get two new cards. The Security Guard came with us in case they didn’t work. They didn’t. So then the security Guard had to get a charger for door as the battery died. He got us in but then the cards still didn’t work. The next morning we had to prop open the door with our items that snide so that we could get back in after breakfast.

Evening reception is unique and one thing that will keep us coming back although we couldn’t be there every night. Omelette was wonderful too. The Lobby atmosphere with fountain and the fish can’t be beat. We are planning to be there every summer.
