The hotel advertises a shuttle service based on availability. On our first night, we called to request a shuttle and were told none were available—which we understood. However, we were also informed that reservations aren’t accepted and it’s strictly first come, first served, requiring an in-person request to valet—despite the hotel providing a card with a shuttle number and extension.
The next day, we saw two shuttles parked and asked valet for a ride to a nearby restaurant. The valet initially said yes, but then returned to say other guests had “reserved” the shuttle—contradicting the first come, first served policy. When I brought that up, he changed his response and suggested we order DoorDash instead to make it “easier” for us. Eventually, he said we could take the shuttle but would need to find our own way back. Frustrated, we drove our own vehicle.
If a service is offered, it should be consistent and fairly provided to all guests. That was the worse experience ever.
