The room was the largest snd best appointed of the three hotels in the Gobelin district in which I have stayed in the past three years. Breakfasts were generous and reasonably priced, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Excellent location for bus and metro transport. The single room was modest having only a basin, but the close by wc and shower worked well and were kept clean. Great inexpensive Thai restaurant almost next door.

We stayed just for one night and had no meals at the hotel. The location was great for all major attractions. The staff was very welcoming and kind. We were allowed to leave the luggage safe as we arrived before the check in time. Recommend.

The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. Professional rather than friendly. The location was excellent close to a metro station and many restaurants. The key disappointment was the room was small and the window looked onto essentially a wall. There was no TV.

Excellent experience at Hotel Port Royal. Very comfortable room. The place is very well located. The staff at the hotel are very kind and always willing to help. Paris is a wonderful city. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Very nice. Classic Paris hotel. Well maintained, friendly and helpful staff, great location. Quite cool despite 39C heat wave - much better than colleagues at other hotels; room had windows to interior courtyard which is stone-wall and stayed cool. Fine, but not elaborate breakfast: Great coffee, nice croissants, juice, yogurt & cereals.

Port Royal is a very sweet small hotel and very conveniently located. Like many French hotels in the price range (mid) the room was small and there was no TV. Despite this, the room was immaculate, the staff was helpful, cordial and very professional. The area is perfect for seeing the sights and getting the feel of a real French neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again.

When booking it is not made clear that many of the rooms do not have bathrooms. As the booking is non-refundable it is not possible to cancel when the hotel - well known of the problem - inform you about this after the booking is made. In addition, the hotel charges you extra for using the shower. That breakfast is not included was not informed, neither at check-in nor when entering the dining room. Instead, it was overly charged (continental - but with no fruits nor toast) when checking out. The hotel is centrally located in a nice district.

This is by far the worst property I have ever stayed in. In fact, we had to leave. Ants on the walls, and our room was on the sixth floor. The fan didn't work properly so there was no circulation in the room. If it wasn't 11pm when we arrived, we would have left immediately. We ended up with bug bites all over. The manager informed us this is a "Zero Star" hotel. Really? It's actually not a hotel at all; it's a hostel. There are shared bathrooms and showers on each floor. We did have an en suite but we had to rinse the buts out of the shower before using it. This was truly a bait and switch and at $280, this was unacceptable. Part of the blame is on Expedia - and I'm still waiting for my refund for the second night. What an absolute disappointment!

La chambre était pourvue d'une moquette de très mauvaise qualité et abîmée. La salle d'eau était très petite et la douche dans un angle. La pièce sentait l'humidité. Une seule prise dans la chambre et pas de télé. Le rapport qualité/prix est désastreux.
