The Hotel Metropole is low quality accommodation. Small rooms, worn out foyer and public areas, broken hair dryer/power points, not particularly helpful staff, tin lift, awful breakfast room.

I ordered an accessible room. It's on the ground floor which is good but there's no view. The TV and the hairdryer is out of order. Very low bed, quite small pillows, absence of the mattress cover which is unhygienic. Location is near the Gare Nord is convenient but a lot of homeless people around. Fortunately, I spent only one night there.

room wasnt very clean,no doors or curtains to shower so all the water all over the bathroom floor. Area around seems not secure. people at the hotel,not very friendly.I find that for what it is,the hotel its too expesive.

It’s very convenient for Gare du Nord - It has seen better days in terms of it’s condition but generally fine for me - a couple of issues… no plugs in bath/sink: curtains don’t pull without difficulty;WiFi is not brilliant - staff are very helpful

The hotel is quite outdated, with no power outlets near the bed or nightstand. When we asked, they handed us an extension cord—as if that were a normal solution. The biggest issue, however, is the bathroom: the shower has no curtain or partition, so water floods the entire floor, leaving it unusable for the next person. Despite these drawbacks, the staff was friendly and helpful, and they kindly stored our luggage after checkout. I wouldn’t stay here again if traveling as a pair. For solo travelers staying just one night, it may be a convenient option due to its proximity to Gare du Nord.

The staff of this hotel is really nice and supportive. The hotel is old, as you feel in a place two centuries behind. The shower needs curtain or glass door. The bed matress was so hard and uncomfortable. There is not A/C, something that Orbitz.com site never included in the description. For a few days for one or two people is ok. Sleeping a whole night is difficult as we listen the cars noise again and again and the police siren around the area.
