Where do I start! Please, please, please do not book this accommodation. It was filthy, -mouldy bathroom, broken toilet seat, dirty floors, peeling paint, cupboards were full of other people’s food. Dirty fridge with left over food in. A balcony that had structural issues and recommended not to use it.
But the biggest issues were the “beds”. There is no bedroom even though the listing photos show an internal door into another room-but this was locked and it said “office closed”. The “single futon” is not the sofa bed you see in the photos, the single futon is what can only be described as a thin sun-lounger topper which goes directly on the filthy floor next to the sofa bed, both the sofa bed and this sun longer topper which were heavily stained. There were no sheets, no pillows, and the only bedding available were tatty looking blankets and a smelly sleeping bag..It was not fit to stay in at all.
We spent several stressful hours trying to find other accommodation, fortunately we did find somewhere else to stay.
Contact with the host was challenging, he didn’t answer the phone and choose to communicate via texts, most of which he ignored.
I will be raising all of this with Vrbo and requesting a refund.
