Everything was fantastic. The staff always went above and beyond your expectations. My wife and I stayed here for about 5 days, and it was actually sad that we had to leave so soon. We’re already planning our next trip back to Brazil, and we will definitely be staying here again. Many thanks!!

The property was nice and spacious. Our room was next to the pool and kitchen where every day at 06.00 the staff would start chatting and shouting, which woke us up. Only three tables around the pool for breakfast, which were "reserved" so we had to eat in our room, which seemed pointless as there was plenty of space for more tables.

An Outstanding Posada

My husband and I stayed at the Refugio Tropical for 2 nights while visiting Paraty. I loved the suite, having a large bedroom, kitchen and living room area. Extra thing was super clean, the flat was tastefully decorated and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The outside facilities and pool area are beautiful and are a wonderful place to relax and swim. They brought us a lovely breakfast each morning. The wifi worked great the first day, but on our second day we did have some trouble getting and staying connected. We enjoyed being able to access the News in English via CNN.

Safe, clean and lovely hosts!

Paraty is paradise!!! Staying here, out of the town centre allows you to feel the peace and calm of the area. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. They are on reception 24hrs to allow you gated access, it felt very safe. We wished we had planned to stay longer, maybe next time?! I advise you to take Deet and anti mosquito stuff, they were nippy! There were provisions in the apartment but you can never have too much Deet!!

A pousada tem uma estrutura bastante acolhedora, com ambientes bem cuidados pra receber com muito conforto. O atendimento do João e do Gabriel foi um diferencial pra lá de positivo. O café da manhã é outro diferencial, pois além de farto e delicioso, não nos obriga a acordar e comer correndo. Foram dias inesquecíveis... Muito obrigada pela estadia, equipe Refúgio! O atendimento da pousada é cordial, a limpeza do apartamento foi ótima e o café da manhã também foi positivo, farto e saboroso. Há alguns problemas aparentes de manutenção na área externa (madeiras em mau estado), e a localização serve àqueles que não querem ficar no centro histórico. Uma boa opção na região.

Amamos nossa estada na Pousada Refúgio Tropical desde da recepção, instalações e refeição. O lugar é super agradável, amei a decoração, a piscina é aquecida, nosso quarto foi o duplex e meus filhos ficaram encantados. Café da manhã delicioso, tudo fresco, quentinho e diversificado.
