NOT recommended!

Nice staff but hotel room had broken curtains hanging lose. Also the room and the whole facility had lots of crickets everywhere. We couldn’t sleep with the sound of all the crickets in the room. Also the town had limited places to eat, etc.etc. Very dissatisfied!!!

Pics and reviews online are very misleading. Pool is green. Kind of a “no tell motel” vibe to the place. Get to my room and it’s 89° in here, at 11:30pm. Floors are stained and dirty, dead crickets EVERYWHERE. Pillows look and feel like it’s 2 sheets stuffed in a pillow case. I can’t describe the smell, but it is not pleasant. Bathroom is disgusting. What appears to be urine and who knows what on the wall and floor by the toilet. Who knows the last time this bathtub/shower got wiped down. I don’t want to touch ANYTHING in here. I’ve been coughing since I walked in the door and can’t seem to stop. Not even going to bring all my stuff up to the room. I will be canceling my reservation for tomorrow night. I wouldn’t stay tonight if it wasn’t midnight. Actually, I think I may go sleep in the truck.

Our room was just OK. Check in was slow because there was no one at the desk. It took several minutes for anyone to show up. I've never seen a pool like the one at HotelVernon. The water was so green and stagnent, I think you could have walked on the water. It was NASTY.

We had a quiet room close to the lobby. Parked our car next to our room. They had hot water and coffee all the time in the lobby which was more than I expected. Facility was clean. I liked that there was an offer of three fruits for breakfast.

Guy at the front desk was nice. The I had booked and paid in advance for two king beds rooms. One of my rooms was a 2 queen beds no big deal since we had one missing person on our drop. The shower condition was horrible. The other room we had a dead big on our wall and whole near our bed. Definitely not what we expected from pictures. We had to check a day early I was not sleeping one more night with my 1yr old in those condition. Definitely needs a lot of maintenance.

The property was nicely lit and was very quiet. It was extremely clean and the manager was polite and friendly. Only negative thing was the room was very muggy, stuffy. A/C would've been nice to walk in to. But it got nice and cool within a Cpl hours. I enjoyed my stay!

I thought the price and previous reviews were good so I decided to stay here. I won’t be back. Brown stain on the sheets. I had to kill multiple flies in the room that kept dive bombing my face. Big clump of hair on the floor in the bathroom like someone cleaned their hairbrush out and threw it in the floor. The entire toilet moved when you sat down on it. The only positive thing was the air conditioner worked good.
