We stayed for 6 days in April. Resort was lovely but didn't like the fact it was kind of hilly. Well maintained grounds and the staff was courteous. Numerous pools and had one section reserved for adults only. We've been to numerous all inclusive resorts and the overall quality was good. The food on the buffet could have been hotter but the French and Italian restaurants were excellent. The ocean water wasn't that pretty blue water you see in Cancun but it was very calm and swimmable. Overall a solid B rating...good time but won't return.

Restaurants closed due to group. We ate in conference room. Food was sub par and took forever for service. My wife was gluten free and her allergy wasn’t taken serious and she actually never got served for 2 meals. Part time maid service and all the common areas need a good cleaning. Every area was under staffed. We have traveled a lot to all inclusive resorts and this was the most disappointing by far. We will never return.

I thought the staff was amazing, and the grounds, lobby and public areas were well kept. They can improve on the quality of food which was a hit or miss most days. My biggest gripe was my preferred room was very worn & needed fixing up. There were what looked like rust spots on the Mirror, cracks & discolorations on the walls/ceilings and the bottoms/edges of the door were damaged/scratched pretty bad.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and I found the property to be clean and kept up with. Cons: They had the buffet and 2 other restaurants. The food was okay, the food at the buffet was repeated most days. It was hard to get a full meal at the buffet because the food wasn’t always great and the service at the other 2 restaurants was extremely slow. You would sit and wait at least one hour before the food came out. If you are looking for entertainment this is not the place to go. I believe they offered aerobics for about 10-15 mins each day and either bingo or karaoke in the evening and nothing else. The entertainment team consists of one person in the morning/afternoon and 2 people in the evening. If you are looking to go somewhere to relax book this place, you’ll get a lot of relaxation here.

This place was an absolute disaster. Nothing — and I mean nothing — was as promised. No food, no proper service, and not a single attempt from the staff to make things right. Instead of helping, they just asked pointless questions and acted like we were the problem for expecting basic services. It was insulting. We paid for a resort experience and got a mess. The check-in process was a breeze. The hotel grounds were well maintained, but the room was just average. The only bummer was that our balcony needed to be cleaned as it was crawling with bugs and insects. There are only two bars on the resort: the main bar and the pool bar. The pool bar closes at 6 pm, and the main bar closes at 11 pm. The service at the main bar was great thanks to Jorge but trying to get a drink at the pool bar was frustrating. After 10 pm, there’s no entertainment, so you will definitely have to leave the resort if you want entertainment or to party. This resort was about 20 minutes from Casa Viejo. Ubers was super affordable to get into the city. The food was a total letdown. There are only four restaurants, and the Italian restaurant was the only decent one. We had to leave the resort multiple times to get food. Oh yea, don’t even think about going to the Oceans Seafood Restaurant. The food was terrible. Worst food restaurant on the resort. The only saving grace was the room service, which was pretty decent and probably better than some of the restaurants. It took about 40 minutes after ordering. I would say overall, I had high expectations for this dreams resort since I’ve stayed at Dreams resorts in the past. In my opinion, I wouldn’t recommend you stay at this property. The money you spend to stay here is definitely not worth it.

This property needs a complete remodel. Please do not believe the airbrush picture. It's not worth the money, and it's not even close. The staff was friendly, the property is dirty, and the rooms are outdated and not upkeep.

Food quality was not great. Need more food options. The dessert options are horrible... the resort needs their own bakery... they need to cook/prepare their own desserts and breads/cakes/pies. The box cakes they currently serve are aweful. The staff was excellent !!!

The food was horrible. Rooms were old. I kept getting harassed to sit for a timeshare presentation. The only food available all night was room service. There was no buffet options for dinner. I will not be back
