Beach Accesses: There are several convenient beach accesses*! Below are 3 of the most popular accesses:
- Gulf Lakes Beach Access: The Gulf Lakes access is a Walton County beach access located about 1 mile to the East of Prominence.
- Deer Lake State Park: Deer Lake is located 0.5 miles West of Prominence. This access has a small parking area at the access (~$3-$5 for parking) and bathrooms, but the walk from the parking area to the beach is a bit longer than most area accesses. IMPORTANT - Because this is a state park, and not a Walton County beach access, alcohol is not allowed & beach service is not available at this location.
- Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is a Walton County, ADA approved, beach access located near Bramble Grove Road, about 3.5 miles to the west of Prominence. Parking and bathrooms are also available at this access.
*Note: Prominence homes access the beach via South Walton public beach access points. Most guests typically use the Deer Lake State Park beach access or other nearby public access points. Prominence homes do not offer direct beach access through the Watersound Club, nor do they provide access to the private Watersound Club facilities.
Parking in Prominence (North and South):
- North Prominence Triplex (A, B, C) Unit Parking: Parking is only allowed in the garage (if available) and/or the driveway of the unit being rented. Parking in unassigned driveways is prohibited and may result in towing or fines. No street parking or overflow parking is permitted in Prominence North. Additional parking is available at The Big Chill (formerly The Hub).
- South Prominence Parking: Parking is available in the driveway or garage of the home (if available). Street parking is allowed, but additional parking in the gravel spots on Pleasant and Clipper streets is first-come, first-served.
Pool Parking: No overnight parking is allowed at the pool area.
Trailer/Boat Parking: There is no trailer parking available.
Golf Cart/LSV (Low-Speed Vehicle) Rentals in Prominence: If your property does not come with a golf cart, you are only permitted to rent one through 30A Gulf Carts. Prominence strictly allows the rental of street-legal golf carts for guest use through this provider only. Questions regarding this policy should be directed to the Prominence HOA.
Nearby Restaurants: Nearby restaurants to The Town of Prominence 30A include The Big Chill (formerly The Hub) which offers several restaurants including - Red's Chicken Shack, Crave Roadside Burgers, Mile Marker 15, Local Smoke, American Drinking Post, Mr. Freeze, Food Trucks, and more!
Nearby Grocery Shopping: Publix at Watersound Origins, located on US 98 at North Watersound Parkway, approximately 3 miles away. Publix in Watercolor Crossing, located on South County Hwy 395, approximately 5 miles away.

Age Requirement: Please note our age requirement policy for March/April: One (1) parent or guardian over the age of 25 must be present and staying in the property for every three (3) guests between the ages of 15 and 25.
Two Night Reservations: Please note, two (2) night reservations are subject to a lower max occupancy. A two-night reservation max sleeping capacity is equal to half of the standard max occupancy restriction for the property.

Starter Amenity Packs: At Beachwalk Vacations, we provide essential items for our guests to use until they can stock up at the store. For the bathrooms, we supply two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, along with basic amenities such as shampoo and a soap bar (similar to hotel-style, but not restocked during your stay). We also provide professionally laundered bed linens and towels with your reservation. For your convenience, we recommend bringing your own beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

What a treasure! I've never rented such a beautiful condo that felt like home. The owners did a great job. Everything was gorgeous. The master bedroom view is amazing. It's in a great location. Golf cart is a blast. They had everything you need. (Just bring your own beach towels and if you're staying more than a few days, shampoo/conditioner/body wash as the tiny samples won't last.) Loved this condo!!! Highly recommend!

Everything was very clean. Beautiful townhome. Super high ceilings make it feel very spacious. Nice big kitchen and kitchen was pretty well stocked.Not very many condiment or miscellaneous things. Master bedroom and master bath were very nice with a huge showerPool was beautiful and very comfortable temperature. Some days super busy though with a lot of kids. we were there on spring break. deer Lake State Park is a great beach. not very busy there. Not a lot of parking but if you get there before noon, usually a spot and sometimes even in the afternoon. Otherwise, it’s a very short bike ride or a pretty decent walk.Lots of nice stuff in the garage to take to the beach. Plenty of chairs and nice umbrellas and some toys.

Poor customer service
There were no garbage cans in the garage for us to throw our trash in but there were 10 bags of stinky garbage in the hot heat that filled the garage and house with an atrocious smell. We called several times a day to the management company finally on day 5 of our week long vacation they picked up the trash but didn’t deliver trash cans. The freezer door wouldn’t close properly so we propped a chair against it. The outdoor chair cushions were filthy and falling apart. When we arrived it was raining and we found a kitchen counter stool on the back porch. The management company was terrible at responding. Very disappointed!

Not So Beeches
Arrival at Crazy Sexy Beeches at Prominence North on 30A was convienent and easy. The condo was clean, fresh linens and towels. However, there was a maintenance note on the cooktop "Do not Use" from March of 2022. Water was leaking from the venthood.
This was not previously disclosed when renting the condo. We had groceries delivered to cook a couple of meals on our stay. Not being able to use the cooktop resulted in a waste of food and money. After our first day on the beach and pool we discovered that the dryer did not work. It would error after 10 seconds of any cycle. We notified the management company immediately. Even after being told maintenance would be out to look at the dryer, it was not looked at during the remainder of our stay. The frustrating part was that we had no way to dry our suits or towels because the rules of the complex do not allow the hanging of anything from the deck railings. We have notified the BeachWalk Vacations management company twice since our return and have not received a call back or email reply.

Nice property and stay. We had a great time. Prominence 30A has no beach access and nearby Watersound developments cut off access. Only access through public access points listed. No grill at condo, must grill at nearby community pool.

We had a great time! It was a gorgeous rental and had a bunch of extras for us. The only issues we had were with the golf cart and bikes but maintenance fixed them within a day or two. Would definitely come back if we are in the area again!

Excellent property - clean, function and great location
Overall, we were pleased with everything from check-in to close. Easy process, clean, clear instructions, and very nice facility - decor and functionality. Great location and place. Thanks for a great time. Only opportunity for improvement was the golf cart -the window was so scratched it was hard to see through. Finally we left something there and management was super responsive in helping us find it - thanks!

Loved our stay at the 30A
We had a great visit ---our first trip to the 30A! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The golf cart was a huge plus as we didn't use our car the whole time we were there. We took the golf cart to the beach, pool, Seaside, Seagrove, and to the Hub for dinner. While this area didn't have as much town atmosphere as Rosemary and Seaside, it was perfect for our trip when we just wanted to relax and swim with our kids.

Beautiful Home with Pool Access
This property is beautifully decorated and well equipped. Great kitchen and everything is new and works great! Having bikes and golf cart was great too. The pool is lovely and centrally located in neighborhood, but the hours need to be open later than 7 pm. However, it is not convenient to the beach access, it is a 3.5 mile shuttle ride or a .6 ride to state park with a quarter mile walk on boardwalk to the beach or a 1 mile ride to another beach access. Be prepared to go the distance to the beach when you stay here.

Cute place and very clean
Bright, new, and clean beach rental directly across from The Hub. We were pleasantly surprised by the kitchen supplies, 2 beach chairs, umbrella, and wagon that came with the home. The beach access was a 5 min golf cart ride away. We had a great time!
