The property looks great in pictures, however it is an updated motel at best. No doubt it looks amazing in pictures has very good reviews, with very convenient location, however, the rooms are extremely noisy. Some of the reviews by other guests are very accurate in the sense that Rooms are not properly insulated, you not only can hear everything from the next room, but whenever the water is running in the next bathroom of other rooms you can hear it. In fact, it is so loud that I believe if an auditor did a sound test it would fail the legal sound limit permitted for a hotel establishment. I’m confident the noise created by pressure of water pipes exceeds the 150-200 decibel threshold & hazardous to the human ear & can cause loss of hearing. While, some people reading this might laugh at this (Because this is not something you cannot post a picture about or know just by looking at room pictures) I filmed it on live video all three nights in case the hotel or anyone wants proof for it. Another way to find out is by staying at one of the rooms.

Very good value! For the relatively lower rate in Palo Alto area, this hotel’s bedding is good, bathrooms is clean, environment is safe, staff is helpful, and even comes with basic continental breakfast. We arrived past midnight, and we were welcomed by a warm staff! We even got a free upgrade this time. What a treat after a very long flight delayed. Will stay at the hotel again when we are in town.

The hotel room was ok. A bit too dim in the room. Cleanliness was ok other than some dead bugs in the bathroom ceiling. There’s almost no noise cancellation I could hear the next room over talking. In the early mornings one of the families had their kids out and about playing too loud and no staff couldn’t at least told them to quiet down… The service was friendly but could do better on maintaining some privacy from sounds from neighboring rooms.

I recently stayed at the Nest Hotel in Palo Alto during a solo road trip and had a fantastic experience. As a single woman traveling alone, I felt very safe and secure throughout my stay. The hotel’s environment was relaxing, and the modern, comfortable room was a perfect retreat after a long drive. Parking was hassle-free, which was a great relief. It was a nice room except the lighting could have been better in the 1 bedroom suite in the sitting area and you have to request a refrigerator. Also there was no streaming to the TVs only Directv cable access. A little disappointed.

Eh, couldve been better.
When we first got there it was pretty good. When we entered the room at first glance, it seemed pretty clean but the rooms don't necessarily look like in the pictures. After looking around we noticed the bed was ripped, pillow cases were stained, and the box spring had dried blood on it. The first night we bought beer from the front desk we went back to the room and noticed the rims were very rusted. No hand soap whatsoever so we had to use facial soap. Considered staying one more night but came to the decision that it wasn't worth the price. When we told the last employee at check out that the beers were rusty when he charged the tab he just looked at us and didn't say anything. Location and parking lot was quiet and calm.
