I was the point person for an 8 person group of 60-ish year-old men in the area for the Indian Wells tennis tournament. The main rationale for my 3-star review is a combination of 4-stars for the size & value-for-dollar of the property and 2-stars for how poorly provisioned and sad the property was. The overall feeling was of a property that was neglected and was just being milked for whatever cash might come in from the occasional rental. IMO the photos from the owner/manager that accompany the listing paint a far too optimistic picture.
Poster in the kitchen that has slipped within its frame. Indicative.
Pool area felt unloved and unkempt.
Typical of the uncared for state of the property.
Random unsightly things left laying around.

The condition of the house wasn't great overall. The showers where inconsistent and some of the fixtures were falling off. Additionally there was significant fit and finish issues such as water damage and paint peeling. Overall nice layout but significant cosmetic issues if that is a must have for you. The host was easy to work with including allowing a early check in.

We arrived 3:30-3:45 pm for a 4 pm check in. Given a wrong code. Took an hour to get in property. Tiles missing outside can lead to fall or sprained ankle. Jacuzzi is a big deal for us! Played 6 baseball games in 3 days. Jacuzzi never worked. House poorly maintained. Drains didn’t work. Pans for cooking were so bad. Should be thrown in trash. I could go on and on. Outlets not working. I believe a refund is due at least 25-50 percent.

Enjoyable Stay in Excellent Location

Our group of 9 had a fantastic stay at this Vrbo for Coachella Weekend 1! The South Palm Springs location was ideal, close to downtown – exactly where we wanted to be. The neighborhood was the nicest we've experienced in our four years visiting, though a little quiet; we were mindful of noise by the lovely pool. The kitchen was a great size for our group and well-equipped with all necessary tools and even spices. The host was very communicative and quickly resolved any issues we encountered. Overall, this property offered comfort and excellent convenience for our large group. We highly recommend it!

Dilapidated Dump-wish VRBO would let me post pictures.

I have rented many homes Palm Springs over the years-some are nicer than others -this place is awful. Not sure how there are positive reviews-suspicious-maybe friends writing them. The house is filthy, has holes in the walls, broken drawers in the kitchen, gaps around exterior doors to let in whatever insects want to join you, one of the doors didn't lock. While trying to discuss with the host she went dark & wouldn't respond and later refused any sort of refund-she didn't even have the courtesy to have a phone call to discuss the issues. We ended up renting a nice home through a local property manager Acme House Company. Will only rent from them after this experience.

Great location in lovely neighborhood close to airport and restaurants

Spacious clean home in great location with well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out or celebrate together in the great room area or by the pool/spa. The house has some minor maintenance issues that did not impact our stay like a broken drawer and some holes in walls. The spa heater did not work and the host was responsive and had someone come replace the heater on the second day of our trip..

Amazing house & host

The house is centrally located in Palm Springs, and had a ton of room for our party of 7 who were in town to celebrate a milestone-birthday! The host (Mariana) was highly responsive to any and all questions - and while the house may need some upgrades to support a 'hottest-of-hot' summer weather, we have no major complaints about our overall experience and stay. And would HIGHLY recommend this house. Looking forward to booking with Mariana again during my next trip to Palm Springs.

Birthday Trip

This property was great! It was a perfect place to celebrate my 50th birthday. Family and friends joined me and there was plenty of space for all of us. We enjoyed all the amenities the property had to offer. The owner and property manager were great communicators. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood

Great house that met our 40th birthday needs perfectly. The set up is lovely for indoor/outdoor living; the pool is really the heart of the experience. There were some minor things; a few chairs weren't in great shape by the pool (which I assume are being replaced) and some of the art oddly doesn't quite fit the frames - which just does impact the experience greatly. It's just feels out of step with an otherwise really well-kept, beautiful home. Anyway, we loved it and would happily come back.

Great Location - Ideal for Small Groups

The property is located in a great quiet very desirable neighborhood that makes it easy to get around. Very close to all the major attractions. Be aware, the owner periodically monitors you live via the front door bell cam - when the camera light turns WHITE you are being watched live - kind of creepy. The paperwork from the management company inside the unit says there are 2 cameras watching the front gates but there are more. (1) Inside the fence watching the car port, (2) in the center of the driveway, (3) watching the gate and walkway between the main house and casita inside the fence, (4) along the backside of the property watching the pool equipment and (5) the front door bell cam that very frequently turned white - watched in real time. Misleading when the management company says there are only two cameras. Note that the unit does not have cable, just a smart TV (must bring your own logins). Toiletries provided appeared to be left from previous guests - some bathrooms had a half-used body wash, others had a body wash and shampoo, and another had none. The listing says there is a hot tub but really its just a portion of the pool, not a dedicated hot tub. Washer and dryer is in one of the bedrooms (casita) which is not convenient for use without disturbing your guests. Listing photos show a green sunshade by the pool which is no longer installed. All outdoor pool furniture is in poor condition and the wicker is broken and cushins are faded and in need of repair. The listing says there is a garage for 2 cars but really it's an outdoor carport. The open floor plan is great for groups, the pool was kept and cleaned during our stay. Aside from all the cameras and being monitored every time we left the house, the location is very private. Parking is adequate. The kitchen appears to be recently renovated. Overall a good unit but not exactly as luxurious as described.

Wedding gathering of family and friends

We traveled to Pal Springs for a wedding. 9 family and friends stayed at this property. The property slept all of us comfortably. The social space was large for us to gather in. The owner was responsive to inquiries. We all agreed that we would stay at this property again. Enjoyable stay!

Huge house! Amazing neighborhood!!

House was spacious and in very good condition. Communication with host was excellent. Great kitchen!! Pool was cleaned while we were there and heating worked out. Only bummer was not knowing about the strict city ordinance against outside music. Highly recommend!!!
