The living room is blessed with a panoramic terrace facing the South, the Boyong river valley, and my "Turtles' Palace", with two big Sulcata turtles that the guests can hand-feed.
This place is for people wishing to be outside of Yogyakarta city's heat and traffic and to enjoy the province from a calm and peaceful spot.
My guests mostly enjoy the views, the fresh air, the comfort of the villa, the terrazzo-made bathtub, the three very comfortable beds, the terrace with its kitchenette facing the Boyong river valley, the private parking, and the fact that the land is huge compared to other Java properties. You are not renting just a villa, but a tropical nature immersion.
I only have one villa for rent, implying that there will be no other guests at the time you are with me. I am NOT a hotel, it's my own private house that I put on rent for visitors. When I have guests in the villa, I move into the near-by small house, where I am available should you need anything, but leaving you enjoying the privacy of the villa.
The Undhak-Undhak Kemiri is perfect for nature lovers, birders wishing to see birds, turtles lovers, people in need of privacy and tolerance, people wishing to do the Merapi Lava Landmarks jeep tour (that I can organise directly from the villa, the jeep coming to pick you up at my place, avoiding you the need to book the tour on Jalan Kaliurang) or any other Kaliurang touristic activities.
I am located 2 km South-West of Kaliurang, near-by the Museum Merapi and other famous landmarks. It's only a 40 minutes drive to Yogyakarta downtown, one hour to Borobudur and Prambanan temples, and an hour 40 minutes to the new Yogyakarta International Airport. I can help organising transport if needed, as there is a car rental in our Kemiri village, making it easy to book you a car with driver to take you around, greet you at the Yogyakarta airport etc. I can also provide my scooter if needed, providing you are used to ride small motorcycles in Asia traffic.
