⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful stay at Riekko Lodge We are very happy that we chose Riekko Lodge for our stay in Lapland, Finland. The lodge consists of more than 20 cozy wooden villas. Ours was one of the smaller ones, but it was more than enough for our family of two adults and two children. The villa was very comfortable and well equipped: a small entrance area, a full kitchen with built-in appliances, a living room with dining area, a nice bedroom, and a loft with two single beds and a cozy chair. Our kids were absolutely happy to have the second floor for themselves. There were also two bathrooms and a great private sauna. We stayed in early December, and after the sauna we loved going outside and jumping into the snow. Our villa was number 1, which gave us extra privacy. The kids also enjoyed playing in the snow near the house. The location is beautiful — on a hill near a river, surrounded by snowy nature like a fairy tale. We were lucky to see the Northern Lights on several clear nights. One wall of the villa is fully glass, so we could watch them from inside the house, although outside they were even more impressive. Breakfast was included and very good. There is also a lovely restaurant nearby where we had dinner once and really enjoyed the tasty local food. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We truly hope to return to Riekko Lodge someday.

We didn't have wifi or TV in the room. The shower had no close glass so the water would go everywhere.

We spent 4 nights here 2 adults and 2 kids and it was perfect. Close and convenient to the slopes. Breakfast was nice and was a good start to the day.
