Immaculate inside and comfy! The sliding glass door didn’t work but you could walk around to sit and enjoy the weather and the sound of the water. Short distance to the ocean. I highly recommend!

Outdated Hidden Gem

This is an assuming three story condo complex off the road to Hāna. This unit is on the 1st floor with parking directly outside. Location is great right at the back door of mama’s Fishhouse and a small beautiful beach to watch the amazing waves.The unit itself feels a little like an upgraded college dorm, in a good way. The guest room is right by the entrance and does not have AC but has a fan. There is AC in the living room and in the primary room. Plenty of bath and beach towels. Kitchen was well stocked and living room was comfortable. The sliding patio door was almost unusable as other reviewers had remarked. We had to go out the front door and walk around the building.The units next to us were quite loud, but not something that the owner can control.My main issue was the owner was completely unresponsive. I had to chase her down multiple times just to get check in information including contacting VRBO help get a response. I also had to chase down check out information which I received hours after we had left. When I finally got check in info the day of I asked for an early check-in and she told me she would let me know once the cleaner was done. Before check-in, we waited in front of the unit since we had groceries and didn’t see the cleaner go in/out before 4 PM. Nothing from the owner. I don’t believe the owner would have been helpful if a problem did arise during our stay.

The building's exterior is reminiscent of a motel. Inside, while clean and accurately represented in the photos, the accommodations are quite basic. This suited our needs for a short overnight stay before heading to the airport. However, its location requires a car to reach town, unless you've secured a reservation at Mama's.
