This is a great place to stay in Padova, conveniently located near all the main attractions. The hotel staff are very friendly, and the on-site parking was easy to use. The rooms were spotless and well maintained.

The overall property was great but after being locked out, and specifically asking the day before to clean and refill my room (I ask for service only once). I came to my room with dishes still in room and no tea. I had to work late so I explained to the guy and asked for a teabag. He said bar is closed. I said I just want a tea bag. He said no and I could not believe it! I said really this is crazy, he went on to say if I don’t like find a new hotel. For a tea bag! The next morning I told the manager and they said ‘ok’… that’s it … I chose this hotel against my company’s advice but it was so close to everything. I am really sad to give this review. It was just a tea bag. Please find better a

All staff were very helpful and friendly when requests were made. Hotel public areas and rooms were very clean and the room was well fitted out. The booking process for breakfasts could have been better explained by possibly an information sheet in the room, similarly tea / coffee facilities in the room would be a welcome addition. Minor issues that never spoiled our stay but worth mentioning. Would stay at Hotel Giotto again and recommend to others.

Sleepless in Padua

Shower tray in bathroom cracked in several places, needs replacing. Arrived feeling very tired after travelling overnight so needed to sleep, cleaning staff at hotel were determined to stop us sleeping despite do not disturb notice, ringing buzzer, knocking on door and finally getting reception to ring us, this happened twice over our 4 day stay!! Is it illegal to have a lie in in Italy?
