We drive frequently from Seattle to Utah, and this is our favorite place to stop. You can't beat the ambience and comfort. It's a place that feels like it's from another time, and I really enjoy seeing the same staff every time. We usually leave too early to try breakfast, but it's apparently very good.

The room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable bed. The architecture of the building is fantastic. Nice to be in an old historic hotel. The restaurant was cozy and warm. The rack of lamb was delicious, as well as the halibut dish. Vey pretty Christmas decor. The staff is welcoming and kind. We had a great stay!!

Loved the charm o this historic hotel. The wood and stained glass was beautiful. Room was large and very comfortable. The old downtown area is great to walk with many old buildings and homes to enjoy

We loved the room, the hotel, the food, and being dog-friendly. Staff were friendly, however, there seems to be a communication issue. Before I booked with Hotels.com, I called to make sure there was a dog room available. The person on the phone continued to ask me a bunch of questions, did I want valet parking, dog bed and bowls, dinner reservations, etc, and said they would note my answers when they received the reservation from Hotels.com. On the day of our arrival, someone called and asked us all the same questions. Then, when we arrived, they asked us again. Asked us if we wanted an upgrade, we said no, then let us view a couple of rooms and took us to one they said would be more money. The whole communication was annoying. They are trying to be upscale but need to work on communication and documentation.

We enjoyed our stay! They called ahead to see if we wanted a room with a fireplace & of course, I said YES! We checked in at 4pm and they said I could no longer have that room as they gave it away. They offered me an upgrade for more $$. Disappointing.

Property is great. So glad I stayed here. Only critique is this place should NOT advertise it has a gym. It has a windowless room in the basement with a broken exercise back, a bench, and some dumbbells. That's it.

We scheduled to have a guided tour of the facility on Tuesday. The day of the tour they called and said it was cancelled for that day so we signed up for the next day Wednesday. On Wednesday they called about an hour before the tour and said it was also cancelled. We had waited around to go on the tour instead of doing other things that we had planned. We were disappointed in these cancellations since we planned our trip and schedule around them.
