Decent rooms, look newly refurbished. My room had no security lock, but had the swinging part; looks like they forgot to reinstall it during the remodel. Also the elevator is slow and feels unstable.

Stick to Holiday Inn - a name you can trust

It started with waiting almost 10 minutes at front counter w for someone to check me in. The gentleman checking me in was wearing a plain t-shirt not a shirt with hotel name on it. I had no idea if he worked there or not. He was a nice guy but struck me as very odd. Even at Walmart and Target - you can tell who the employees are. The toilet did not function correctly. (which requires no further explanation) No cold water from bathroom sink. The ac unit mounted to outside had some sort of bird or squirrel stuck inside, because something was constantly "flapping" (I was afraid to open closet door because I though a bird was inside the room) the noise was that loud) The TV did not work in the room. I spoke to someone to come to the room. I was told they were on the way, and they never showed up. I asked the next morning for a different room. The new room had a functioning toilet and TV, but once again NO running cold water. I had to brush my teeth with hot water for 2 days. I couldn't even get a drink of water from bathroom sink because of no cold water.

Hot tub had something floating in it, jets didnt work, when house keeping came in they didnt sweep, or mop, or change the bedding. The only thing they did was take out the trash. The ice machine an coke machine where broken. The breakfast area was amazing. Front staff where very kind. An the breakfast workers where also. I would give it over all a 6/10 rating.

The property is going through a renovation process and the 1st and 3rd floors are complete. I have not stayed on the 2nd so can't comment on its condition. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and obviously great condition. Property is on the edge of town so very quiet.
