Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy
This is not “charming” this is a dive.
And I’d like to be clear regarding this review. I have never given a poor review of any place that I’ve stay, anywhere, through any platform, AirBnB, VRBO, Expedia or Bookings. But this is special.
At $300/night stay anywhere else.
Here’s the story:
Check in was fairly easy once I received the door code.
When you enter through the outside door (code required) you are greeted with two doors, one that leads directly into the restaurant adjacent the door to the apartment upstairs.
The door to the apartment doesn’t stay closed or latched.
Your only towel is a bath towel.
There are no lamps only overhead lights
The tv doesn’t work because it is too far away from the wall plug.
There is an extension cord that runs across the floor and the receiver, modem and internet have all the spaces used, so if you unplug one for the TV the internet is completely useless
We found three bananas in the fridge in a state of decline
Three bouquets of grocery store flowers in a state of decline on top of the cupboards
The electrical outlet between the beds in the front bedroom didn’t work
And I didn’t complain and maybe I should have.
The icing on the cake was at 10:55 pm my daughter knocked on my bedroom door to inform me that she found a bug crawling on her arm. And yes, after further investigation and I have pictures, it was what you think it was. And after checking my bed, a large amount of “black flecks” were found.
