The name “Zur Schmiede” dates back to the early 20th century. The brick-clad holiday home is attached to the main house, which was built around 1850. From the early 1920s until around 1945, blacksmith Fritz Peters worked here in the smithy, shoeing the farmers’ horses, among other things. We want to commemorate this history with thoughtful details in the furnishings and design of the rooms. In 2015–2016, this section of the building was completely renovated and expanded. The holiday home is located in the old village centre of Wustrow, not far from the church. It is accessible via a cul-de-sac and has its own parking space. Guests can also enjoy a small, secluded, sunny garden for sunbathing and relaxing. Bicycles can be stored in a shed, which also features a charging station for electric bikes. The holiday apartment measures 64 m². On the lower level, there is a cosy living/dining room with a large bay window. An extensive library, featuring all genres of literature, also invites you to read on cool days. Also on the lower level are the bathroom and the hallway with an open staircase leading to the upper level. There, in the spacious bedroom (bed linens and towels are included), you can spend time reading in a cosy armchair or use your computer at the desk, which has a fiber-optic connection. There is a second bathroom on the upper floor.
Thanks to its very quiet location, the holiday rental is ideal for those who enjoy peace and quiet but also appreciate being within easy walking distance of the supermarket, bakery, and shops. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away. Please note that smoking is not permitted inside the house. Unfortunately, we are not equipped to accommodate pets or children.
