Friendly and stylish boutique hotel

Beautiful hotel with many personal touches to make you feel that you were staying somewhere special. We only had the breakfast once but have to say the choice, variety and quality of the food was excellent. All the staff we spoke to on reception were super friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend

I stayed at Hotel Cocoon in Ostend for one night. The room itself was nice and a good size, and the location is definitely a strong point—right on the beach and very close to plenty of restaurants and bars. However, there were a few issues that affected the stay. The room was quite cold and the thermostat didn’t seem to be working, which made it uncomfortable overnight. The shower gel bottle was also empty and hadn’t been refilled, which was a bit disappointing. Parking is available, but at €30 per night per car, it felt quite expensive. The overall atmosphere of the hotel wasn’t particularly welcoming, which took away from the experience a bit. Overall, it’s a well-located hotel with decent rooms, but a few improvements and attention to detail would make a big difference.

Great location

Lovely hotel in a good location. Excellent breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. The air conditioning in my room wasn’t working and no one was available to fix it. Fortunately I could open the window without too much disturbance but it would have been nice if they could move my room or fix the problem.

Would have been cheaper to book directly with hotel. It was $40 more with app. There was a smart TV but no internet could be used for youtube. Front desk unable to assist. Room was clean and comfortable.

Een heel fijn verblijf gehad in Hotel Cocoon! De hygiëne was werkelijk perfect, alles was piekfijn in orde en dat gaf meteen een aangenaam gevoel. Het ontbijt was super: uitgebreid, vers en een ideale start van de dag. Ook de kamer was voortreffelijk, comfortabel en verzorgd tot in de details. Het enige minpunt vond ik de prijs, die aan de hoge kant ligt, daarom boek ik persoonlijk enkel buiten het seizoen, wanneer de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding voor mij beter zit. Maar los daarvan is dit absoluut een hotel waar ik graag terugkom!

Kamer niet zo proper stof mocht wel eens afgedaan worden op de plaatsen waar ze denken dat ze mensen niet kijken. schimmel in het koffieapparaat stopcontact van de lamp aan de ruit werkte ook niet. En mss een aanrader nieuwe hoofdkussens want de hoofdkussen zijn al redelijk oud. Personeel was vriendelijk niks op aan te merken. Onbijt was goed juist wel heel duur voor mensen die maar 1 boterham eten en 1kommetje fruit en 1 koffie of fruitsap per persoon.
