Check in went very well. We had five different rooms and the front desk had all the paperwork and key cards ready to go. Probably took less the five minutes. The hotel was very nice and very clean. The rooms were huge. Summer at the front desk was especially helpful telling us about some local places to eat. Good job!

Check in was seemless, she was fast, courteous and welcoming. The room was very clean and the hot tub was perfect. They do have a bar that is cash only and some small food items if you get hungry at night.

The room was literally spotless, very nice comfy bed, and plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Had to go to the front desk repeatedly to reprogram my room key~my phone deactivated it~and they were happy to help every time I was there! Julie~at the front desk, cook for breakfast, and housekeeper…she appeared to do everything there~was a standout employee and kept a smile through it all. Thank you Julie and Cobblestone!

Though the staff was nice and helpful, there were several issues. First, both Saturday and Sunday morning, the coffee area in the main lobby, the coffee was empty both days, we had to be out before they opened for breakfast at 7. So though it was nice for them to have that there, it was empty both days. The worst issue though was Saturday evening, our smoke detector started beeping. I called the front desk, I was given a battery and I changed it, it continued to beep, I eventually got it to stop, then it started beeping again overnight. This is something I’ve never had happen, and should never happen with proper maintenance. These batteries should be replaced in places like this every 6 months or so to avoid disturbing people. Unless they are using the name brand batteries of the smoke detector brand, then the battery hasn’t been replaced since it was installed in 2022. And finally, the last morning, the breakfast was not good. The eggs were slimy, and many of the stocked items were empty. The room itself, besides the smoke detector, wasn’t too bad. In need of some repairs where there are cracks and such in the ceiling, but not bad. Would have been nice to have an uninterrupted sleep, but due to lack of maintenance, that didn’t happen one night. And with something as important as a smoke detector, makes me wonder what else they are neglecting. Will stay elsewhere next time we are in town.
