Very well situated for the attractions of Umeda area, short walk from Osaka train station although we did get lost! Room was very small but we only stayed one night so it was OK.

front desk staff was very polite and kind. They let me do an early check in. Position is excellent as well. After that, room was smelly (had to spray tons of deodorizer) and the cleaning staff (actually one lady) was awful: when I tried to exit the elevator, she pushed me back because she was in a hurry, no excuses at all even if I tell her. Then she enter in my room without nocking and asking, as soon as I scream she slam the door without any kind of excuses. sorry, this is not a proper service in japan

Ok hotel. Good location.

Like most budget hotels in Japan this is a good place to sleep, dont expect big rooms nor bathrooms. If you are tall and large, bathroom would probably not fit you. No frills hotel. Its clean and accessible. Needs an english speaking person on staff. Not somebody who can barely speak good english either. It was hard to communicate.

Great location in Osaka - could be more clean

This hotel was in a great location and was inexpensive. The room was large and pretty quiet. The downsides were that the whole lobby smelled of cigarettes and the room could have been a bit more clean upon check-in. For this I leave it a 4 stars instead of 5.

Smells

I'm really not sure why this hotel has such good reviews. The staff are nice and the location isn't bad but the whole thing smells. It's a short walk from the Osaka station which is nice. It is in a nightlife area, but that didn't cause any issues. The room itself isn't bad but it isn't great either. It's not in a terrible condition just dated. Our issue was that the entryway, the lobby, the hallway, and our room all smelled awful.
