A wonderful place and a great time. The Ketcher’s cabin was lovely, well stocked and a great size. It has a huge deck out front with a round, glass table with umbrella and 4 rocking chairs. The kitchen even includes a dishwasher which is a rare find in any up north MN cabin. The brand new cookware (Carote)was so awesome we are going to buy a set for our home. The outdoor grill is ready for anything you want to throw at it. Best of all were the owners. Very kind, super helpful people who offered their own docks across the street for fishing. We caught oodles of fish from their docks which topped off our last night. The Ketcher’s also gave us some background on their cabin and information about the area including good restaurants. We were greeted by a nicely scented candle and a basket on the coffee table that was stocked with S’mores fixings. Unfortunately due to the high wind and low humidity we were unable to make s’mores as no fires were being allowed. The cabin also has fun and cute plaques all over the walls. We brought along trail cameras and caught pictures of bunnies, a fox, and a deer. It was an enjoyable time and we will definitely be booking again.
