Enjoy your vacation in our beautiful renovated 4 Seasons Lake House Retreat that is situated on Big Stone Lake in Ortonvile, Minnesota. If you’re looking for a place that to just to get away and enjoy full lake access in the homes back yard, as well as two tier deck, and sitting area to enjoy the lake then you have found it here. Our home has unique amenities, such as a trolley that will bring your items ( nothing over 40 lbs please at a time and please no riding on it ) down to the house as well as take them back up to your vehicle ( no more carrying your bags down a flight of steps or your groceries). Our home is designed inside for your comfort, with interior amenities as well as four bedrooms ( Master has a Queen On first floor, the second bedroom has a Queen and the third room has a oversized Twin and the fourth has a full size) which sleeps 7 people comfortably . While you’re here, you don’t have to worry about doing dishes by hand, there is a dishwasher, as well as washer and dryer( iron and ironing board) on site. There are many places to sit inside, or out to eat with your family. This home comes with a front patio as well as a rear one and also a deck connected to the house that is off from a four season porch that has a 180 degree view of the lake and wild life. During the winter, there’s an electric fireplace on the fours season porch as well as one in the living room. so you can eat your breakfast or whatever meals out with your family, as you enjoy the sunsets which are incredible. The bathroom is fully supplied with soap, shampoo,conditioner, toilet paper and towels. But, don’t worry if you want to use something else, then your only 5 minutes ( by car ) from a grocery store or stores downtown that you can buy everything you need ( if you forgot your medication’s, don’t worry just five minutes down the road is Carlson’s pharmacy that his family owned) . If you’re coming in at Christmas time, there will be a Christmas tree up decorated for winter as well as an insert fireplace for that full cozy cuddle up on the very large couch for the night . That is also electric as you see in the pictures and puts out wonderful radiated heat that makes everything cozy. There is tons of comfortable seating in the living room so everyone can enjoy the TV which has wireless Internet for each of the televisions in each room. There are trees on both sides of our property that we own, that give you the feeling of privacy of being there by yourself. Also, our home is the only home that is a full four seasons home where it’s located, which means a lot of times you have no neighbors at all. Also if you’re wanting to grill out with your family, we do provide designated area for you to grill and tools for the grilling ( as well as paper plates, and cups, utensils and charcoal) . There is so much to do around the area, whether it be boating, kayaking, fishing during the summer or spring or come here in the winter to do ice fishing, hunting, shopping, visiting the city or going on day trips to South Dakota ( which is across the lake), as well as visiting the other surrounding lakes.It’s all at your fingertip. We also offer, especially during the holiday or special events. But, you must contact host before event to get permission and there might be an extra charge for cleaning, certain items brought in for you so that they are there at the home when you get there. It is mandatory that you will have to contact me prior, to let me know what it is you need and want for the event. We are also a pet friendly rental ( you will never know a pet was here because the house is sanitized completely after each rental no matter what), with some exceptions ( you will have to contact me first to get authorization that you agree to my terms there are no exceptions , your animal must be housebroken and be under full verbal control ,leash or electric collar, we also do not want any pets on the beds or on the furniture at any time). I also charge $100 per pet per stay ( not per day ), and please do not bathe your pet in my house in any form nor brush them in my home. I am trying to be pet friendly so that they can come with you but, you will have to clean up after your pet as well as remove all poop from the property and put in the can at the top of the stairs ( your pet may not go to the bathroom on the patios or deck at anytime or there will be another cleaning charge to you ) please have you pet poop in the grass please and not the flower beds .
