The staff at this hotel are excellent. They’re intelligent and knowledgeable. They are a friendly staff from the front desk to the housekeeping staff (they keep a very clean room). I will surely stay at The Hampton Inn in Oroville again - they have a good breakfast too.

I waited for staff to come clean my room, replace the bed sheets, provide fresh towels, and restock toilet paper, but no one ever came. The ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign was not on the door. I was very disappointed with the service.

I was there for two nights, no one clean my room and I have to asked for clean towels the second night. And when they brought the towels to my room I was asked in a mean way “you don’t have clean towels?”

It was clear that the property was brand new. Which was great in a lot of ways because the floors and everything seemed very clean. However, there was no literature inside the room to explain how the lights worked or anything. The shower while well designed, was so slippery I held on to the bar in there so that I didn’t slip and break my neck. Towels smelled like bleach. The TV remote did not work properly as if not set up maybe? It was expensive but I felt safe and the daily breakfast is awesome!

The dining area was not kid friendly. I had 3 small children with me 3 and under and the tables were either too tall or round and small. There is a large wall blocking half the view of the dining area to the food area making it difficult to keep a view of my grandchildren if I needed to grab utilinsels or napkins or drinks or anything else that I needed. I could not access the internet via tv. I have the same tv at home and am very familiar on how to connect but was only able to access cable tv which had no children's channels. I had to resort to Family Guy channel to satifiy the little ones. Not the best choice. Other than that, one of the nices places I havve ever stayed at.
