Nice hotel but …

This was a nice hotel , close to a lot of tourists attractions . Our room air conditioning was set to 60 degrees and the room was still hot. Hotel worker came in for less than two minutes said the air was cool. Yet, all night my family sweat. Took a shower about 1am in hopes to cool off… nothing .

10/10 stay at Fairfield.. like always! Have stayed multiple times and always have a great stay. Location is PERFECT close to everything close to parks, entertainment, restaurants, coffee, etc. Breakfast always clean and quick n easy in the mornings. Parking is an additional fee but much more reasonably priced than the hiltons etc in the area ($16/night rather than $25/night) with plenty of parking spots!!!! Staff is so friendly and kind, from front desk to house keeping, groundskeepers, everything! Loved staying here & will continue to book!!!

Wouldn't recommend to a friend

This is a lackluster hotel suffering from delayed maintenance and stingy amenities. Location is good. We were a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) and stayed 5 nights in a 2-bedroom suite. Check-in was fine, but it took longer than it should have. The room was good in terms of space, but it was not particularly clean (dirt and dust in corners). Furniture had dinged edges, the front of the fridge had large scratches, paint job was sloppy, especially in the bathroom. The shower was re-caulked, with mold showing through, and the tub and toilet lid were refinished and chipping on edges. Fixtures in all three sinks and the shower/bath were old, one sink and the shower dripped. A few things looked like they were recently replaced, including mirrors and all of the chairs, but the overall vibe was worn and tired. The king bed was a little pitted/saggy, no complaints from the kids on the queen beds. In the morning, breakfast was ok but felt skimpy, with not much variety, very little food put out at a time and lines to get a scoop of slightly watery scrambled eggs and pale sausage. The only fresh fruit was underripe bananas and red apples. No decaf coffee. Housekeeping was only every other day, and was just bed-making, towel replacement, and trash removal. They did not sweep/vacuum, wipe down surfaces, or restock soap or in-room coffee. The worst part was the night-time noise, with very loud music/bass outside from 1AM-5AM on 3/5 nights, plus heavy demolition next door. Bring earplugs.

Pros: Centrally located. Safe and relatively quiet. In general the staff was pretty good. Cons: Our 2 adjacent rooms were not ready at 3pm. Had to wait until 3:30pm and after applying some pressure they put us in non-adjacent rooms. Our room (308) has issues with the bath shower and curtain as well as the entrance door that need to be fixed.

They did not clean the bathroom properly there was hair all around the tub left and toilet also was dirty that means the staff is not working good there
