MIXED REVIEW-The property met our needs for a family of four (2 adults and 2 young teens). It was spacious, mostly comfortable, and conveniently located near stores and restaurants.What made my review mixed were a few maintenance and housekeeping issues. At check-in, we noticed missing slats on both window blinds, a broken dining chair armrest, heavily scratched bar stools (one was very wobbly), writing on the hallway wall (obviously from a previous renter's young child), and a broken, bent ironing board. We notified the host immediately, both so we wouldn't be held responsible and because she may not have been aware. She thanked us for letting her know.An issue worth noting was the upstairs master bedroom, which never cooled down at night like the rest of the house. The bed was comfortable, but the temp made rest not so comfortable. Also, the shower curtain liner in the master bathroom was very dirty. That was surprising, as that can be an easy fix.Finally, this was the first rental I've stayed in that did not provide washcloths. Towels were provided, but no washcloths. The host explained they stopped providing them after the pandemic. Since the listing simply says "towels," it would be helpful to clarify that washcloths are not included.Overall, we had everything we needed, and I think this property has the potential to be an excellent rental with a few small improvements, easily earning them 5 stars. However because of my experience, I can only give it 3 stars.
