The room and property brand new Service is good But there are things that didnt made this 5 stars vacation For example, i set the sign to clean the room at 8 am and it wasnt cleaned till 15 when i called them several times to clean the room Another example is that we didnt had wifi for 1 day And there is no bellmen service until 7 am , so if you need to leave eraly, then you should be the bellmen which isnt expected in 5 stars

The hotel was simply excellent. The facilities, the service, the rooms, the staff were lovely. The hotel is in a relatively quiet area and on a very popular beach. Everything was really convenient. The only thing I missed was that the hotel doesn't have a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The hotel isn't really far from the airport, so it's a shame we had to take a taxi that cost us a lot of money. I think for the amount of money we pay for the hotel, it makes sense to have transfers.

Beautiful hotel and very helpful staff. Gazebos around the pool area tend to be scarce at peak hours and abundant around a pool that we were discretely notified -when we were sunbathing there, contrary to what was explained to us on arrival- that was exclusive for members of some club. Things that were not working properly, such as umbrellas or the shower besides the pool, took too long to get, or were not, repaired. The room is very comfortable, and they take the time to make it twice a day, one for cleaning and one for preparing the bed and leaving 2 chocolates. Great detail.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days, and overall it was a beautiful property with a lot of potential, but I think there are some areas that could be improved. First, the air conditioning in the elevators and lobby areas near the elevators needs attention—it was very weak and made waiting around uncomfortable in the Aruba heat. Second, the music situation could use variety. Both the bar (Zuma) and the pool were playing the same songs on repeat every day. It would make a big difference if the hotel invested in something as simple as a Spotify account to rotate playlists. Also, the live performances/DJs wrapped up around 10–11 pm, which felt a little early. It would be nice if at least on weekends the entertainment went later for guests who want to enjoy the nightlife atmosphere. As for the food, it’s definitely on the expensive side, which I expected, but if you’re charging premium prices, every dish should feel worth it. Some menu items were really good, while others needed more work this was true across the different restaurants in the hotel. All in all, the hotel is gorgeous and has great amenities, but small adjustments in comfort, entertainment, and consistency in dining would make the experience so much better.

I stayed at JOIA for 4 days to celebrate my birthday, and it was such a wonderful experience that I even considered extending my stay. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the service, attention to detail, and beauty of the resort exceeded every expectation. Geraldine was the absolute highlight of my stay. She went above and beyond in every way—making sure we enjoyed happy hour at the pool, preparing drinks without us asking, showing us around, and even heating food and delivering it to our room while still managing the outdoor pool and bar. Her smile, spirit, and genuine care made the trip unforgettable. She even told us what day she’d be off and reassured us about service in her absence, while also sharing tips about things to do off the resort. Geraldine is truly the face of JOIA in my eyes, and the best customer service professional I’ve ever met in all my travels. The Valet Team was top-tier. Samuel always greeted us with warmth, opened car doors, and ensured parking was stress-free. Randy was phenomenal—always cheerful and helpful. Tyrone greeted us upon arrival with hot towels, helped with our bags, and gave us a great introduction to the property, along with Randy. Rene made check-in and checkout seamless, while the Star Café was filled with delicious items each day. The staff were amazing here!! Everyone was so eager to please and very kind. They made you feel like you belong there. I mentioned it was my boyfriend’s birthday briefly and they made sure he felt celebrated and special! The poolside bartender Roney was so welcoming and made the best drinks. Everyone else from housekeeping, servers, cafe staff, to front desk had superior service. That is rare these days let me tell you! The pools were great and the quick cross of the road to the pristine beach was incredible. The complimentary beach chairs, the filtered water stations and free sunscreen were all very thoughtful perks. The location of the hotel is in a great area in Eagle beach. It is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the “strip” in the Palm beach area, but close enough to take a quick cab or rent the electric scooters that were easily accessible on the beach sidewalks and streets. I had an amazing stay here and would certainly recommend to anyone going to Aruba! We would love to come back! Thank you to all the staff!

Beautiful new resort, top notch. Food and restaurants were so delicious. The most friendly, helpful staff you’ll ever meet. Made the stay so much more beautiful. The beach is a little weird bc it’s across the street and you have to cross over traffic. Not a deal breaker though, just a different feel from the traditional “beach resort” feel. The most comfortable beach/pool/lobby seats we’ve ever felt. The smell of the resort, amazing! We want the smell for home. Highly recommend!! Get the banana crème brûlée, you won’t be disappointed.!

Very clean, new, room ocean view amazing, cleaning everyday and before bed time , glass bottle of water was provided everyday, logged shop super. The only negative feedback stuff doesn’t know about Expedia gold status clents’s benefits and denied to upgrade room for free . Charge me for room upgrade but promised to resolve this issue. Pool side amazing, life music everyday . Pizza in Italian restaurant speechless
