Maison historique au calme
Lymond house est une maison historique situĂ©e au calme, dans une rue sans issue. La propriĂ©tĂ©, qui date de 1855, est magnifique. Elle est meublĂ©e avec du mobilier d'Ă©poque ; la dĂ©coration est particuliĂšrement Ă©lĂ©gante et la maison sert souvent de dĂ©cor pour des photos ou des films. Le jardin est verdoyant et trĂšs agrĂ©able. Le plancher de ma chambre Ă©taient cependant Ă bout de course et mĂ©riterait d'ĂȘtre remplacĂ©. Les suites sont grandes, avec des salles de bain immenses et bien Ă©quipĂ©es. La literie est confortable. Deeper, le propriĂ©taire, parle parfaitement l'anglais et m'a fourni de prĂ©cieux conseils pour visiter la rĂ©gion. Il faut en effet sortir du centre ville pour profiter de beautĂ© de Ooty, les attractions du centre-ville Ă©tant d'un intĂ©rĂȘt limitĂ©, Ă part le musĂ©e. J'ai notamment fait une ballade en vĂ©lo Ă©lectrique dans la forĂȘt et la campagne environnantes. J'ai pris le bus pour aller randonner dans les plantations de thĂ© et Ă la rencontre de la population locale. Le petit-dejeuner est copieux et excellent. Les repas, Ă commander quelques heures avant, sont faits Ă demande, frais et dĂ©licieux.

Un rappel des Indes d'antan
Dans cette region de montagne ou les journees sont tres fraiches 15 à 17°, cet hotel de style anglais est tres agréable avec un beau jardin.
