Amazing hotel! But the 2 special unique items I really enjoyed is how close the hotel is to the start of the bike trail. Also, there is a few free chair massager in the hallway for guests to use! It was wonderful after a day of biking. The hotel also offers spectacular views of both sunset and sunrise, which can be hard to find in some hotels.

The location is amazing and the views of the water are exceptional! Two ladies at the front desk (Fukuhara and maebara) were extremely helpful to my friend and me to help us with making plans and working out the logistics. I loved this place and will definitely stay here again when I come through. Onomichi is charming !

We were only staying at the hotel overnight before beginning a long bike trip, but the staff that greeted us absolutely bent over backwards to make sure any question we had was answered, including physically leading us to where we needed to go to reserve our bikes, guiding us through the entire Luggage forwarding process and answering any questions with a smile on their lips and a song in their heart. Of all the hotels I’ve been to in Japan this is the most likely place that I would go back to. If I could give them and their wonderful staff six stars I would.
