The room was recently renovated, it was clean and neat. There was a puddle of water near the window in the morning after it had rained all night. Due to the renovations, there was a worker working until 8 pm on Saturday night and started up again at 7:30 on Sunday morning right outside our door. It was quite loud with lots of banging and clanging. The inner hallways were closed off, so we had to access our room from the outside. Understandable during renovations, but maybe close it down until they’re finished? Or don’t start working until check out time at 11 am. We have stayed here frequently and the renovations are great, it was just unfortunate that this happened this time.

Room was clean (very updated as well, few minor things to still be completed - like 2 inch gap between door and floor) however building still under renos as other people have stated so the front does not look the most appealing. Parking at rear worked great for trailer. Room was also huge!

Large clean room. Very pleasant staff. Coffee maker microwave and fridge. Appears recently refurbished. Good bed. Restaurant hours only 4 to 8. No elevator which may be a deterrant to some people.

We were locked out of our room 5 min after check in while unloading at 10 pm . Our 2 dogs were in the room. The front desk closed down and no one was available. Called the after hours number multiple times (10 +) and left multiple messages. Banged on the front door. Called the security number and they didnt have an emergency number. After 30 min I called the police. After 35 min, someone came out and finally let us into the room. This is extremely dangerous and irresponsible. What if an infant was in the room? A medical emergency? A fire? Our whole evening and night were destroyed. I asked for the manager to call me, and 48 hours later I have not received a call. Automatic locking doors and electronic cards do not belong in a small town motel. There needs to be emergency numbers that are answered.

They are doing a reno at the front of the building so it looks like it's closed but around the back is done. It was very worrisome when we got there. I thought that we would have to find another place. Maybe there should be info to let us know that they are doing Reno's and are open. Thank you for helping us. Our room was nicely renovated. Would return to the Pinewood motel again in the future

Renovations looking great, linens need upgrades, room makeup needs more attention e.g. bed making, enough towel sets, coffee cups…. Great staff when I expressed suggestions & very friendly!

Yes parking was easy and convenient. The room was very clean but lacking in some amenities (like hangers in the closet and sufficient hand towels and face cloths). The receptionist was clearly bored with his job and responded without friendliness.

They are renovating the motel so the outside doesn’t look good but our room was newly renovated. It was large and clean. Bed was comfortable. I would stay here again.

The property was not the most inviting upon arrival due to renovations taking place which we were not aware of upon booking. We stayed in a newly renovated room which was very nice. Did not experience noise from renovations. We ate dinner in the onsite restaurant which was good, however not open in the morning for breakfast

The property is currently undergoing renovations, however, the rooms/corridors were very clean and everything was well maintained. All staff- front desk clerk, restaurant staff, from the server to the chef were welcoming and accommodating, ensuring we were comfortable. We highly recommend the Pinewood and would definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel. Excellent dining room and another good restaurant across the street. Renos being done on lower floors, completed upstairs. Like new. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again without hesitation.

We got the refurbished rooms upstairs which are clean and very roomy. Staff was good, location perfect for an Espanola event we attended but property is in the middle of major construction which we did not know about.

The property is under renovation and we were put in the reovated rooms that are very nice and new with newer beds. On our visit unfortunately the TV did not work at all and while in the shower, discovered that both the shampoo and soap dispensers were empty! Due to the late hour of arrival at 10pmand the closed up front ot the hotel we did not see any point in calling the front desk to try to get anything.The next morning the young lady said we should have called as personnel were on site. (There is no way we would have known this and anyway the chances of getting the TV fixed were likely nil at that hour. The point is, this stuff should have been checked. And if you are going to upgrade the hotel and beds, please upgrade the linens and towels.

I realize that there were renovations on going, however there were signs of litter and the flower pots were overgrown with weeds. I just feel that a better looking, more attractive outside would be more welcoming. The staff were excellent and the food was good. I would stay there again.

We would have preferred main level as my husband has a difficult time with stairs however the main floor is going through renovations. The 2nd floor is complete and it is lovely. Spacious, clean, bright rooms. Bedding and bed were perfect and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
