No balcony, very tiny appartment

There is no balcony, contrary to the info at hotels.com. We decided not to check in, as the balcony was an essential feature for us to book. we did, however, have a look at the appartment. The entrance is from a very narrow corridor, littered with shoes and a vacuumcleaner from the neighbouring appartment. The appartment is very tiny, and it smelled like some had been smoking.
