Welcome to Casa Josephina! This pristine four-bedroom countryside villa is located within the charming village of Quelfes, minutes away from the fishing town of Olhão and its beautiful white sand beach island, and 15 minutes from Faro international airport.

This villa is surrounded by a beautiful landscaped garden with fruit trees, roses, bougainvillea and other colourful plants, a large private swimming pool (12 x 6 meters) and a 2700 sq. meters of untouched land.

This South-facing family villa built over two levels can comfortably sleep 8 adults. It offers privacy, space, comfort and fabulous amenities so that you can enjoy the sun soaked lifestyle of the Algarve.

The open plan living/dining room on the ground floor features a dining table seating 8, a wood burning stove and comfy sofas for relaxing after a long day in the sun, LCD TV offering both English and Dutch TV, and a fast internet service all around the property.

An ensuite bedroom be found on the ground floor, just off the lounge. This bedroom features a super kingsize double bed and a window looking into the gardens.

On an upper level, a further three bedrooms: one with twin beds and private shower room, and the others with twin beds. Two of the three bedrooms offer access to a large roof terrace with sun loungers and fantastic views to the sea. There is also another large bathroom with bath / shower.

The kitchen has a table and chairs for casual dining, and is fully equipped with all necessary appliances, leading by steps to an outside covered terrace where you can find a BBQ, a fridge and a dining area.

In the garden, by the poolside, there is a cool shaded chill out zone for cocktails or for just reading a book; an elegant loggia with fridge, sink, running water and comfortable sofas and 8 sun loungers. This will be the most popular spot in the villa during your stay.

The villa is fully air conditioned.
Bed linen and bath towels (no pool towels) are provided.
Cleaning service, linen and bathroom towels are changed every seven days. Extra services can be provided at an additional charge.
A car is recommended when staying at Casa Josephina.

Winter Stay
Stayed for two weeks in January and apart from some rain for a couple of days we had tremendous weather. the Villa and gardens are beautiful , even in January. Sonia from the management company was always available and attentive. We had a wonderful, relaxed stay at Casablanca Josephine, we recommend.

Fantastic spacious villa for a family holiday
We were a family party of 7 and Casa Josephina got a big thumbs up from everyone - young and old - I thoroughly recommend it. It has a lovely pool area with lots of seating in both sun and shade and another outside eating and barbecue area closer to the kitchen. The villa was really clean and well equipped and the bedrooms were all a good size with comfortable beds and air conditioning. There is a restaurant close by that does excellent reasonably priced food - grilled meat and fish. It was easy to reach the coast - about a 10 minute drive and Tavira was about 30 minutes away. The villa itself is easily accessible from good roads so no worries about scraping a hire car getting there. The owners Adrian and Miranda are really helpful and the local property managers were also on hand at check in and departure with useful advice. Thank you for a wonderful holiday - we are planning to return.

Highly recommend this property, the villa was so comfortable and incredibly well stocked, everything you could possibly need was there from buckets and spades to every type of kitchen equipment. The grounds and pool area were probably the best we have ever seen. Communication with the owners prior to the trip was fantastic and the property manager was incredibly helpful and friendly. We would love to return!

The pictures & reviews made our decision easy. Good contact with hosts. Privilege Homes met us on arrival and were helpfull & informative. Villa is fully equipped with everything you could want for a holiday & has plenty of room for 8 people. It is clean & comfortable with a lovely pool area & seperate BBQ / Pizza oven area. A car is recomended, plenty of amenities within 15 min drive including beaches & supermarkets, but cafe just over the road from the entrance offers cheap simple well cooked food at a good price.

Clean and well equipped. Nice and private but not too far to drive to towns and beaches.
Beautiful spacious villa which is well equipped for all your needs. Even after a cool rainy day we had a cosy log fire all ready to light and relax in front of. Also for those who don't want to miss their TV soaps or series there is British TV. Even though the lovely big pool was a tad chilly by the end of October the grandchildren enjoyed a dip everyday. I even braved it on one of the warmer days. The nearest town, Ohlao, with its fish market, is pretty much untouched by tourist. It has a few pleasant restaurants and not to be missed the ferry out to the beach islands. A little further a field we enjoyed Faro Old Town and Tavira.

Amazing family villa
Having just returned from Casa Josephina, I can honestly say it was by far one of the best holidays I've ever had. It was our first time staying in a villa so we were a bit unsure of what to expect but we had nothing to worry about as everything was perfect, the villa is better stocked than our own homes especially the kitchen! Communication with both Adrian and Miranda during the booking process to Andre in Portugal was second to none, nothing was too much trouble and all questions were answered extremely quickly. We requested an extra travel cot, high chair and stair gate and all requests were met with no issue at all which we were really grateful for. The pool is a fantastic size which easily accommodated 8 adults and 2 small children. The villa itself is stunning and in a lovely location. There are no bad points that I can think of at all, we had a fantastic time and would happily return. Thank you :)
