On arriving staff were friendly we stayed in the family room on ground floor the room was clean and very spacious had everything we needed for our weekend break location was very convenient especially just a short 15 minute drive to Heaton Park for the parklife 2025 event the pub attached where we had an excellent breakfast plenty of selection and staff again were amazing as too was the pub grub on the evening an all in all fantastic place to stay will most definitely stay again well done boat and horses keep up the great work

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Wonderful Stay at the Boat and Horses I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Boat and Horses in Oldham, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is warm and inviting, with a lovely balance of modern comfort and traditional charm. My room was spotless, well-appointed, and surprisingly spacious, with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like tea and coffee facilities, quality toiletries, and fast, free Wi-Fi. One of the standout features is the pub and restaurant on-site. The food was absolutely delicious—generous portions, well-cooked, and served promptly by friendly staff. The views of the canal just outside added a really peaceful touch to the dining experience. Location-wise, the Boat and Horses is perfectly situated for exploring both Oldham and nearby Manchester, with great transport links and a quiet setting that’s ideal for unwinding after a busy day. All in all, it was a fantastic stay. I would highly recommend the Boat and Horses to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning!

We loved staying there. The service was fantastic. Reception staff were so friendly as were the dining room staff. We had fresh towels everyday. The breakfast buffet was so good with so much to tempt our appetites. A fabulous place to stay.

Lift broken, sign hiding exposed wires. Walls have been patched not painted. Floors everhwre stained and looked dirty. Chair dirty. Sofa bed u compfy. Shower not powerful. Was meant to be a nice get away to watch daughters concert glad we only had to sleep.
