The house was fabulous. It was perfect for our family. I only wish the weather had cooperated so we could use the fire pit.

A short get away

The property was very clean, easy to access and close to both Inlet and Old Forge. There were many restaurants in the area and not far from the property. We were able to enjoy a camp fire each night and enjoy our coffee in morning outside in the fresh country air.

Blissful Bear is in a great location close to Inlet and Old Forge but also has the peace and privacy that many desire when heading to the Adirondacks. It's a beautifully maintained home with high quality linens, lots of extras like toiletry items, food storage bags, coffee and kitchen gadgets. In addition, all furniture is very clean and comfortable, pillows and towels are plush, the basement game room is full of entertaining games for both young and old and the fire pit with several chairs was just steps away. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer! In addition to the great house, the host was amazing when I didn't fully read the email she sent with instructions on how to get into the house and had to call her because we were locked out. Your kindness and understanding of us did not go unnoticed. Thank you for a great stay! We plan to stay again next time we head to the area.
