Rural location 5 minutes to on/off ramp. Just over 10mins to Hampton Downs, 10mins to Huntly speedway, less than 30 mins to Te Rapa.
2 bedroom fully equipped with sofa bed. Private driveway leading up to cabin. Ample parking and turning space for trailers and larger vehicles
Shed available for those needing workshop space for vehicle.
Paddock available for horse lovers moving through.
Pool and spa available on request.

Two bedrooms 1 with a queen size bed 2nd bunk and wardrobe space. Living space has a sofa which can be made up bed, generous bench space, fully equipped kitchen, heat pump, Smart tv.

Other things to note
Main house is behind Cabin (approx. 20 meters away) with entry from a different driveway when guests stay.
Two bedrooms available but will lock a bedroom if only one room needed. Please note cabin is close to motorway

Not only was the host amazing and accommodating, The place was top tier and had everything, it deserves the hype!. It was beautifully set up, spotless, warm, and incredibly tidy. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making it feel comfortable and welcoming.Everything I needed was right there, and it was such a relaxing, stress-free stay from start to finish. I would 100% recommend and will be staying there again. Tranquility alright, an absolute gem!

Fantastic stay

Stayed here for a few days while exploring the area. Beautiful cottage, immaculate condition. Weather was a bit chilly to enjoy the pool but the hot tub was great. Would definitely stay again!

Exceeded the online photos and reviews. Our weekend was made memorable for numerous reasons:1) location to Huntly, Hamilton & Auckland2) the hosts were more than accommodating to our needs3) the weather was hot and having aircon was bliss4) using the pool was a pleasurable bonus5) double glazing windows blocked out the expressway noise 6) the basket of snack foods was appreciated7) a variety of appliances i.e. dishes, cutlery, pots. utensils were great as we cooked meals 8) dishwasher well used8) the beds were very comfortable9) having a washing machine was great but didn't use the drying cycle10) the clothes drying rack was great. Suggest a clothesline would be ideal. 11) the private setting was appreciatedWe would not consider any other accommodation when next in Ohinewai/Huntly

WOW!!

The cabin is beautiful and so peaceful. There was a welcome basket with several goodies, and a very large shower. Would definitely chose to stay there again, if ever in the area

Terrific Stay

Stayed at this lovely cabin for four nights. Three adults enjoyed all the amenities of home. Place was super clean and everything was like new. Beds were super comfortable and we are picky sleepers. Lovely light with lots of windows. Very rural spot but easy access to Hwy 1. Would stay here again. Highly recommend it to all.

Recommend stay close to Hamptons events

This cabin is above my ocd cleanliness and super sleek !!!! Love love love the lay out and all its amenities, we loved the goats and the sunrise to. The host was very lovely to communicate to and easy and quick at replying , we were a bit uneasy with the cameras Facing into the cabin while you stay we understand tho and get why you’d have to 100percent understand. We got over that being watched every move feeling after awhile A huge fav for our teen was the pool, yes in the middle of winter But does cold therapy which helped a lot also tow spa pool under the stars at night was incredible after a 14 hour day at a event, HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING close to amazing food at Gordonton and a quick drive to Huntly prime spot but my fav was def playing with big pup was a big fav of mine :)

Great warm and convenient stay with a friendly goat

We loved how warm and well set up this accommodation was. Great to have Netflix too for the young ones. Very comfortable and I would recommend it to anyone.

Clean & Modern with a Thoughtful Host

We enjoyed our stay here! It was modern and clean. We appreciated the hot tub. We also loved the gift basket with treats - especially the home grown grapes! What a treat. It was very thoughtful. The washing machine did shake the whole house so I'd advise doing the loads in the day/evening but not at night while trying to sleep. Also, my clothes got locked in the washing machine but youtube showed me how to easily unlock the machine :) Be advised that the closest exit from the main road is blocked. Overall, communication with the host was great. And we appreciated the location (shaved off time from Hamilton to Auckland the next morning)

Best getaway in the northern Waikato

Peaceful, clean, and everything you could possibly need in an overnighter. We felt like we were the first visitors in a brand-new home. The bedrooms were just like home but better, even the couch bed was comfortable! So lucky we found this place, would come back again, and am recommend it to all my friends and work colleagues to book here.

Beautiful Holiday home for a cosy stay

The hosts were very friendly and communicated well! They even set up a cute snack basket for us to enjoy which was really lovely of them. Would definitely recommend staying here, the house itself was modern and had a cosy feel to it. Lovely holiday home 😊
