Within walking distance to Marginal way walkway, and town for dining and shops. Room smelled "damp" but overall was comfortable. Would like to see microwaves in room for convenience. It did have a small refrigerator.

We had an excellent stay in mid-July. Super-friendly staff, clean room and grounds, and great location. The Helm bar and grill on-site was convenient with excellent food. Our only minor complaints are that the window air conditioner unit made it a bit difficult to maintain a comfortable room temperature, and the continental breakfast could have offered some hot items (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.)

This was our second time visiting this property. Last year we had a pleasant visit and returned this year to be disappointed by having such an unpleasant stay. We had a musty smell in our room as well as wet and dirty carpeting. The family pool was dirty and with no clean towels to be had. The garbage can outside our room was overflowing and smelled attracting flies. There were silverfish and flying ants in the room. I let The Admiral Inn know about these issues and have not heard back from them.

Beautiful and clean

I found the resort looked exactly like the photos on their website. I absolutely loved the decor. The lobby was beautiful, and the people were friendly. The room & bed was very clean, and the pillows were soft. I only have a few complaints. First off, the water pressure in the shower was so low that you had to press the wand into your hair in order to wash. There was no way to turn it up. I honestly didn't feel very clean with such a light rain sprinkle. Secondly, we weren't able to use the hot tub because they had just put a bunch of chemicals in it and so they were trying to let it sit. Lastly, I really would have appreciated a microwave. We had leftovers that we didn't have any way to warm up, so we had to walk all the food up to the lobby and use theirs. That is very cheap upgrade that would be greatly appreciated by everyone. The walk to the beach was not too far, but it wasn't hot either. Might be a little tough if it was blazing hot, but they also have trolley service. It doesn't come exactly to the hotel, but does come just down around the corner, and he will take you to and from the beach. That comes around about every 20 minutes he said. Overall, I'll definitely stay with them again. It was beautiful.

It was a beautiful property. I rented the room I did because of the jet tub. I was so disappointed it didn’t work properly. Informed the front desk , they were friendly but that didn’t fix the tub. I wouldn’t stay there again.

This was the PERFECT stay. The location was just off the Main Street so it was easily walkable. The staff was very friendly. We also loved the outdoor pool bar with the nicest bartender. We will definitely be back.

This does not qualify as a resort by any standard. Offering a "SPA" that sits empty and a "Sauna" that requires waiting for heating should not be advertised as resort amenities. As a frequent traveler who stays anywhere from no stars to five stars, I have clear expectations, especially when the term "RESORT" is used. All rooms use standard keys with key holders, and they make you sign that you will be charged $50 per key if lost, I guess they have not heard about the digital options. While the two rooms we stayed in were spacious and adequate, the bathrooms were outdated, with no space for toiletry bags. The toilet paper was the cheapest I've encountered, not even seen in hostels in South America; it was very thin and poorly perforated, truly inexpensive. Regarding breakfast, I can accept not having an omelet or other cooked-to-order items found in regular hotels, not to mention a Resort, but the presentation in cheap containers made it unappealing. It felt like they discouraged dining there. Overall, a complete disaster.
