A comfortable hotel close to the airport. A morning shuttle for early flights was a bonus. The rooms are large and have the basic amenities - a kettle and coffee machine .

Is my 4th time in this hotel. Rooms are very spacious and clean, comfortable beds :) Easy parking outside and is close to the airport. The breakfast is delicious ! Will come back !

I regret staying here even for the free airport shuttle. The shuttle was late we waited outside in the bitter cold; the room was dark & dreary we called to ask for additional lamps no such luck was told all rooms are the same! Heating didn’t reach the bathroom so it was very cold. Overall the room was very uncomfortable.

Great location! Bistro had tasty meals. Spacious rooms and comfortable bed. The front of the hotel was under refurbishment so we had to use the back entrance to come and go. No problem, but it wasn’t the nicest entrance.

Rooms were okay and spacious. Best part of the room is the bathroom. Property is currently under construction so be prepared for construction sounds, no hot water, and weird smells. If you’re looking to book this hotel for the free airport shuttle it’s limited seating and it runs only from 6am-10am otherwise they will call you a taxi that cost $40USD I wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel is being renovated on the outside and at night I was questioning the place I had chosen. However, the inside was warm and cozy. It is a very cute hotel & the restaurant was also very nice. The room was clean & modern. I am happy with this hotel that we chose based on its proximity to the airport for our flight out of Iceland.

Rude ignorant staff who think it’s acceptable for someone who booked a twin room to have a double room and share a bed. Didn’t think to get in contact and therefore late at night when arrive after long day traveling we were met with an arrogant member of staff who as good as said “bad luck” I’m genuinely horrified by my stay at this hotel and wouldn’t recommend . Miles out from the airport 3500k in taxis to and from. Don’t bother.

Pleasant Family Room Stay

Stayed in one of the family rooms. Very spacious overall, but you may find the bathroom counter space a bit limited with six guests. Generous sitting area in room. Facility was very clean overall. Excellent restaurant on-site, with many grab-and-go options in the reception area. As of February 2025, there was some construction to the foyer, but associated noise was mitigated as much as possible. Location of hotel (former military base) is conveniently close to Keflavik Airport and Blue Lagoon, but limited in amenities, especially early in the morning.

We stayed for a night, the property is conveniently located about 20 mins drive from the airport but just like every other place in Iceland you need a car to get around. The staff recommended to go hunting for Aurora borealis and it turned out to be a great suggestion. We spent the New Year’s Eve under the stars with the northern lights performing their mesmerizing dance.

Great hotel close to airport

The hotel was perfect for coming in late at night from thr airport or just before flying out. I stayed her twice on my recent trip to Iceland and it was perfect. It is closest to the airport and they have an airport shuttle service. They have some construction going on, however, the hotel is very clean and relaxing.

Great place to stay before your flight home the next day!. The free shuttle to the airport is very convenient for a morning flight. Beds were comfortable and rooms very clean
