Overall a good hotel

Good hotel with all the basic amenities and services required for overall satisfying stay. Location is good and not too far from the center, easily walkable and you get to see the surroundings on your way to the center. Neat location close to the harbor and sailship Pommern. Would stay here again.

The biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning. The room was very hot and humid in the middle of summer, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. Apart from that, the room itself was acceptable, although the bathroom had a somewhat unpleasant, musty smell. The hotel is not very attractive from the outside and feels quite dated in 2026 — almost institutional in appearance — but the rooms are slightly better than the overall impression of the building. The staff were polite and check-in was simple; I received my room card without any issues. Breakfast was basic, but it had the essentials. Overall, it was an acceptable stay in some ways, but the lack of AC in summer was a major problem.

An easy walk from the ferry. Beautiful views. Full breakfast with lots of options. Sports pub attached for an end of day bevy and not noisy at all. Staff were lovely - welcoming and helpful. Our room was really good exception the design flaw with the shower that made huge amounts of water flow across the floor. We used towels to block it.
