Dare Ja Vue - Ocean Grove

Our luxurious, completely renovated beach house is light, bright and white.
Quality features such as timber floors, stone surfaces in the kitchen and bathrooms, King furniture leather lounge and large walk in showers (complete with heated towel rails) you will feel like you have come home along with the added bonus of an ocean view.

A fully equipped kitchen with quality appliances, including a barista style coffee machine and large dining table will let you entertain for 8 people with ease.

The lounge has a large TV and DVD player.

We have 4 bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms.
Master Bedroom has a Queen Bed, walk in robe and ensuite.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 have Queen Beds and Bedroom 4 has 2 King Single beds. These bedrooms have large built in robes with a mirrored dressing/vanity space.
Each bedroom has a split system air conditioner/heater.

The bathrooms have large walk in twin rail showers and heated towel rails. Hairdryers are provided.

Hotel quality towels, linen, pillows and doonas are provided.

The laundry has a large capacity washing machine and dryer.

Downstairs games/TV room is complete with a TV and old school arcade games, so everyone in the family can have some breathing space.

This room leads out to a private entertaining/BBQ area and is complete with a fire pit for cool evenings.

Secure storage for surfboards and bikes is provided.
A private heated outdoor shower to rinse off the sand and salt is welcome relief on cooler days.

We have undercover parking for 2 cars and space for additional off street parking.

Great convenient location

No need to drive to the shops and cafes or find a park at the beaches/playgrounds.
We are 200m walk to the beach and a 1km walk to the patrolled surf beach.
We are a very short stroll to the cafes, restaurants, supermarket, bakery and specialty shops.
A favourite is to order fish and chips on the corner and while you wait, drop in to, Blackman’s Bar for a drink and walk home with dinner in minutes.
A playground and park is 5 min walk away.


Sorry we don't allow schoolies or large party type bookings.
We are strictly non smoking and do not allow pets.
We believe we cater well for families and couples that appreciate quality surroundings and will enjoy being near the beach and local cafes. The bedrooms, living and bathrooms are all on the one level making this house suitable for elderly guests.

Great house close to restaurants & the beach

The house has plenty of room, is in a great location and was very clean. It had everything we needed and nice ocean views. Wes was great to deal with and provided us with some ideas of what to do in the area. We really enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous house, everything you’d need immaculately clean. Enjoyed the BBQ and fire outside and very handy location. The host was in contact to make sure everything was going okay. Definitely would be my first choice for accommodation for the area again

Spacious Venue and Great Location

It's our second stay at Dare Ja Vue this year and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Check-in was a breeze and upon arrival, the property was clean, spacious and inviting. The beach is just minutes away as are numerous cafes, bars, takeaway shops and a supermarket. You'll easily find everything you need and more at the property! The backyard, outdoor shower and ocean views are a great bonus! It's the perfect venue for families with kids and Wes is a great host. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

Beautiful house to stay in .

Exceptional house with all one needs - beautiful linen ,towels and appliances and kitchen ,laundry and rumpus room which we didn’t need ,and a great outdoor entertainment area which unfortunately it was too cold to use in May Stayed in for my sons wedding at The Dunes so perfect for position of local shopping area and then to the beach area .Large lounge area that allowed us to set up a fold up table so we could seat 20 for dinner the night before the wedding using the chairs from the outside table . The only slight problem might be for light sleepers is the very busy road and noisy trucks and cars coming up the hill - for 3 of the 4 bedrooms during the week - despite the new windows . The main bedroom is quiet . Great host to deal with and I thank Wes for our wonderful stay .

Amazing renovation. Only note of disappointment was state of unclean BBQ, we had to clean hot plate properly just to use it, couldn’t and didn’t use grill. We hope that you agree that property was left clean and tidy.

Relaxation on location

Located within walking distance to the hub of Ocean Grove, it is always achievable relaxation on location. Glancing out the generous window view and seeing boats entering the bay is as good as it gets. It is a comfortable time with friends, in a comfy home.

A lovely bright spacious energy on first entry of this home. Lounge, kitchen dining area has floor to ceiling windows with beach views. Tastefully decorated with all the mod cons. Bedrooms and bathrooms very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the backyard firepit. Teens enjoyed the rumpus room with old school electronic gaming table. Walking distance to Main Street and beach. Great location. Visited local wineries and golf courses.

Perfect house, perfect location

The property was all we could have wished for for our girls' weekend away. It's in a great location and there was plenty of space to enable us each to have our own bedrooms, combined with the well-thought out communal space. We were very happy with everything.

Family and the kids were very comfortable. The open space and bay view window I liked a lot! Shops less than a block away and a short walk to the beach. Wes was very good to deal with and friendly. I had fun also reliving my youth playing Pac Man with the kids on the little arcade.

Spacious home

A very comfortable house! The layout was surprisingly spacious inside as from the outside it appears smaller. It was very clean and fresh and everything worked! The living area was very well lit with views to the ocean. The beds were very comfortable! Also a quick walk to the shops and beach which was ideal for us as we like that village feel with ease to all amenities. Will definately stay again!
